yes fp gestures are working with flashing zip file after you flash rom that is provided in this thread, fast charging, volte everything is working fine

Fp-gestures are working out of the box. Some people have trouble with them e.g. losing fp-gestures without any reason, or they don't tell the reason. Some say the patch brings them back after losing fp-gestures but I and many others never lost them at all. I suggest you try it without the patch.

I'm wondering, why is it required to go to the stock rom?
i can't figure that one out, i currently have twrp + resurection remix 5.8.4 , and i thought with the proper reset, thats should be fine, or am i missing something?

If there is no problem with your sim-card, there is no need to go back to stock. Just do a clean wipe.

AFAIK encryption is only needed for fp-unlock but I'm always encrypted so I can't tell.
