Afaik, telephoto lens doesn't work with this rom, so no, it doesn't work better than stock.

I'm not sure but I have a feeling it likely requires something in Samsung's framework. I don't have one to test either unfortunately.Did anyone manage to get Wear OS to work past the splashscreen? I tried a combination of many things among which installing Pico/Nano Opengapps, Google app and even downgrading/upgrading via Apkmirror but nothing seems to work
Edit: Everything else works amazing on G988W. Had to do a few things to pass CTS certification for Google Pay but all good now
Following are the issues I noticed:Thanks @jimbo77, in case others find it useful, I flashed LineageOS on my G986U1 using this sequence:
Things look good as of now, I will use this as daily driver and report if I notice any issues.
- Flashed stock firmware from samfw version G986U1UEU1ATG2 to go back to OneUI 2.1. My phone was on G986U1UES1BTIG. Pay attention to the CSC shown on Download mode. My System showed LRA but Download mode showed XAA and I used XAA.
- Unlocked bootloader and flashed TWRP as I described here.
- Boot to recovery, moved lineage zip file from OP to sdcard and moved pico opengapps.
- Flashed lineage zip file followed by opengapps from TWRP.
- Wipe cache, data and dalvik
- Reboot
@jimbo77 I would love to help build/test 18.1 on S20U snapdragon but i have absolutely no idea where to start. maybe i can help regardless
should be enabled by defaulthi,I flash it with one ui2.1,everything works well except 120hz refresh rate, how can i make it work?
Okay sorted now. I didn't realise you couldn't specify a particular firmware with Frija, it just downloads the latest one. So I thought I was one OneUI 2.1, but actually I was on OneUI 3.1.I'm having trouble booting this ROM. I dunno what I've done wrong. I have a SM-G981N which is the korean model but still with Snapdragon. I have ATFD firmware, I've put the relevant bits in the slots in Odin. I've added vbmeta_disabled into USERDATA.
Then I boot normally, this causes the phone to prompt for a factory reset, which I do. I boot normally and go through setup to avoid PRENORMAL. Then boot into download mode, and put TWRP into AP slot and flash that.
I boot TWRP immediately. I format data since I can't copy multidisabler over until I do that. Reboot back into TWRP again. Copy multidisabler, flash multidisabler. Reboot into TWRP
Copy ROM, pico Gapps, magisk. Flash those three. Then I get stuck on that warning logo screen. I also tried just the ROM, the ROM and magisk only, still no boot
