Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
Flash Google Apps package(Optional)
Flash Magisk Root(Optional)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes.​

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

@Stricted @PixelBoot Ooh! Nice! Have you included Treble support with it? If not, have you checked out https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga.../guide-project-treble-galaxy-s6-edge-t3896133

EDIT: also, the sim toolkit doesn't work for authentication. The problem still persists from 6.0. Fix is described here
EDIT2: Charging issues. If it seems not to charge, the phone needs to be restarted to start charging. Also phone goes blank if I try to answer the phone while it's charging.

Otherwise, great work!

EDIT3: More bugs: After installing kernel adiutor, only one cpu mode is found. That is "interactive". Sometimes the big cores are not in use and the phone randomly reboots and hangs.

My phone seems to hang temporarily whenever I attempt to wake it during sleep. I've noticed that the LED doesn't function properly without using an app to trigger it. I've also noticed that the LED seems to be tied to whether the phone freezes or not as whenever I charge it with the LED trigger app installed, the phone doesn't hang anymore.

Edit: upon further testing it seems that any activity during the phone's sleep phase prevents it from locking up during the wake phase. Charging, notifications, blinking lights, etc. all prevent this from happening.

Matlog keeps looping "Connecting to camera service" "Camera service is unavailable". This causes the driver to be very unstable and renders the logging for other problems useless.

Matloghere (too long link from hastebin and pastebin limits to 1mb. The text file is 1.1mb). There is also the problem logged with the stk.app (while entering correct pin, either one of the buttons doesn't work). It's due to manifest (manifest for stk.app needs to be the same to the phone.apk)

Fix anytime soon?
