I really don't understand the point of all these custom roms when half of the things are not working. Quick charge, second camera, camera manual mode, and who knows what else. This should be listed on the first page so that people don't waste their time.

Why are you searching for custom Roms?
These Devs are individuals with limited resources and knowledge. If you want something that just works, stick to the stable MIUI, if you're not satisfied with it (like me), be careful when purchasing your next phone.
And many of these bugs are not reproducible by Devs because there are different configs among the same model and he/she only has access to his/her phone

Hey folks. Been using this ROM on my Mrs' phone for a while know, and it's been great. There's one small issue however. Today I tried to copy over some holiday pictures from the phone on to the PC, and surprisingly, the phone is not seen as a drive by windows explorer despite selecting the USB mode for file transfer (or even as a photo device - this doesn't work either). Any ideas why this might be happening? There are no driver installation errors seen in windows, it recognizes some MSM device, but doesn't want to open it. I'm on a fairly dated build from 3rd November 2017. Any help would be appreciated, maybe this is a known issue of some sort?

I've been using the same build for months too.
I can access photos from my Mac and Windows PC after selecting the "Transfer files" option on the phone.
I can't remember exactly, but you might need to install the Xiaomi USB drivers to get this working.
A quick search threw up these results:

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

So I just got my Mi6.
I'm the LineageOS developer for Xiaomi Mi4c and I'll be helping Xiaobai get official status for the Mi6 too.

Not yet but can flash Hasty or pop kernel while waiting lineage to implement the kernel fix

I'll be releasing a build today with the updated touchscreen firmware I extracted and multiple performance improvements. Xiaobai seems not to update the ROM very often.

Any chance the ROM will get official?

Yeah, it will. I'm cleaning up the sources as we speak.

If the fp sensor of your device is fpc and is not working on los,has following to methods to fix:
(choose one of them! not all !!!)
    1. edit /system/build.prop and change ro.boot.fingerprint=goodix to ro.boot.fingerprint=fpc
    or
    2. rename /system/lib64/hw/fingerprint.fpc.so to /system/lib64/hw/fingerprint.goodix.so

    reboot your phone

    then fpc fingerprint should work~
