I'm proud to announce SailfishOS for the OnePlus 6T.
I think it's great to support alternatives to Android and help bring some competition back to the mobile OS space.
I really appreciate any contributions, bug reports or suggestions on GitHub

Just like to add my word of thanks

Grabbed the latest version this week when I got a OnePlus 6 delivered and had it wiped, trwped, installed and setup in less than an hour

Very clear instructions and a nice clean build with no errors yet.

Quick question - are you looking to update with each Sailfish release or at the fix points or something else?

I've been intermittently following Sailfish for a few years -- seems I recall they have an optional add-on that allows you to run android apps.

Anyone using this for a daily driver? What's your experience? I sure would like to install an OS that was not tied at the hip with google.

I was going to take the plunge on this ROM, but I read that Sailfish does not have VoLTE. Best I can tell, T-Mobile is phasing out non-VoLTE phones in January 2021. Likewise, if what I read is correct, ATT is phasing out non-VoLTE phones in February 2022.

This turned up about Verizon:

"Information from TracFone:

4/8/2019 - Verizon will no longer activate Non-VoLTE Devices
1/1/2020 - Verizon will no longer service Non-VoLTE Devices

Starting 4/8/2019, only activations with VoLTE compatible devices will be processed. Non-VoLTE devices will no longer activate.

Before 1/1/2020, existing customers on non-VoLTE devices should be upgraded to compatible VoLTE enabled devices."

Jolla has been talking about VoLTE in Sailfish for 5 or 6 years but it has not been implemented as far as I can tell. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
