I heard that one guy from CyanogenMod team has started this ROM with other good-old developers and our tablet is in the official list of supported devices. So, why it's unofficial?

Awesome, can't wait to try it, and I'll keep my eye open for posts by Entropy.
Rom works fine but it didn't mounted my sd card. It's my first time on a non-sony rom so I don't know if I have to do anything to mount sd card on aosp derivated roms :p. And I hope you will include the multiview on the next update even though it's WIP.

i flashed this rom - it appears to be a simple rom so far with not alot of customization options, that said it is very smooth and every thing looks like it is working as it should - i will set it up to my liking and test it out for the next few days - thanks for the rom !

edit - it sets twrp as the recovery which i prefer over cwm - but i did have 6 cwm back ups and would like to be able to access them if i wanted ?

It's basic because omni is still in its initial development phase - there's no official builds right now because the rom isn't feature complete.

Regarding backups... Omni is sticking with TWRP, but fastboot flashing the cm kernel will get you back to cwm if the backups are needed, though omni probably wouldn't boot at that point.

As was said above, you could flash a CWM kernel as required to access them, or if you have a pollux_windy you can install LK and use its recovery for CWM and keep twrp on the omni boot.img
