LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

General F.A.Q.s

Q: Do i really need full wipes?
A: Yes

Q: App "x" doesn't work, why? like google cam
A: Probably not compatible with Nougat yet

Q: Is the rom rooted?
A: Yes.Rom is prerooted

Q: Data Connection does not work, why?
A: The ROM, already includes latest APNs, if you still have no active data connection, check your APN settings
still now working?
then type *#*#4636#*#* - you will see menu - turn off "celluler radio power" & turn on after few time - now turn on your data :)

Q: Does this ROM supports Substratum ?
A: YES, Full OMS Support :)

Q: When will (feature/issue here) be fixed?
A: NO ETA , please

Q: 1080P Videos aren't playing ?
A: Use 3rd party app with SW Decoder

Q: Data not working 2nd sim slot ?
A: Put sim in 1st sim slot :3

Is the camera is like previous version of lineage where it was only working on default app or is ot working on any app?
&
Does it support video recording?
And can i use it for daily driver.

Guys if you know then please tell....

Bcuz i really need an daily driver for my device. Is this rom stable enough?

Using since 3 hours..seems stable good speed ..no lag..good battery backup..two camera apps..both can be used for video recording as well as still pics and i also able to restore apps through TB...good job......moreover will tell when everything is tested ie quality of camcoder or camera

Sir the rom is very stable now camera is totally fixed with vedio recording and can also use third party camera apps
and there are no bugs best suited for daily driver:)

Already use it very stable tho, but somehow the wifi keeps my phone awake, already disable wifi scanning and keep wifi on during sleep already set to Never. Also the airplane mode is not working, i still can use phone

Rom is almost stable. Data connection is not working properly . after the first boot it was working, but after that it cannot connect to network.
