I also have 3GB version and I haven't faced any of mentioned problems. My performance is always good and all animations are fluid, no lags whatsoever (even games run better than on MIUI). Only thing I can't confirm is the camera, because I use Google Camera from the start. To flash I used Batik Recovery if that helps.
do you have occasional delay when unlocking the screen? mine still having this problem

today I switched to the pixel launcher and it seems a little improve in term of ram usage. (i use yandex launcher at first)

Could you tell how did you flash this ROM? I have tried flashing and already bricked my phone once and the thread has confusing steps to install.
-unlock bootloader
-flash official TWRP through adb
-flash Batik Recovery (flash through TWRP)
Then everything exactly, step by step like on the first page (when you flash the .gsi just choose flash as a system)
Remember that first boot can take even few minutes.

Just like I said earlier, when I use FP to unlock, phone vibrates but screen stays black, and after 2-3sec it vibrates again and then unlock. When I use power button on the other hand there's no delay whatsoever. I'm using Nova Launcher and I haven't faced any issues. Lately you said that you flashed stock gapps. That can also be the problem (I had a lot of problems on my previous phone after flashing stock gapps - I recommend NANO)

I need some help with the installation here

How to Install
ALL LINKS ARE GIVEN BELOW

Unzip aex6.0.img.xy using zarchiver
Flash treble recovery.
Wipe - Dalvik/Art cache,System,data,cache,vendor
Flash Treble enabler
Flash Gsi

!!THEN REBOOT THE PHONE!!

Then again go to twrp
Flash gapps
Flash fingerprint fix
Flash volte fix

So , here's my problem
1. Unzipping the aex package gives me a img file , do i need to flash that ? or do i need to make a zip file ? ( I'm a noob when it comes to flashing and things)
2. I flashed Baltik recovery , I hope it'll do ?
3. When exactly do i need to flash the aex package (img/zip) ? I mean like flash rom>flash gapps( the usual procedure right ?)

Thanks in advance guys :D

I assume if you want to install this you've already unlocked your bootloader and flashed TWRP, if not, just do this first. If you've done this then...
- Put all of your downloaded files for example on your SD Card
- Unzip aex 6.0.img and put .img file for example on your SD Card
- Flash treble recovery - Batik is fine
- Reboot to recovery (power+vol+) Wipe -> advanced wipe -> Dalvik/Art cache, System, data, cache, vendor
- Flash Treble enabler (Install -> choose your .zip file)
- Flash Gsi (Install -> Install Image -> select your .img file -> choose instal as system
- REBOOT
- Again go to recovery
- Flash gapps (i recommend nano package)
- Flash fingerprint fix
- Flash volte fix
- REBOOT and you're done :)
Just do everything step by step and it will work.

But that question remained , I need to flash the aex img before gapps right ?

And most of the roms I've flashed are .zip but this one's .img , that makes me worry . :(

Yes, you flash .img file -> reboot -> flash gapps. Why would you flash gapps when there's no system installed ? And yes, any recovery with treble support should do but I've used Batik, thats why I mentioned It - it's working for me.

Actually I couldn't understand that the gsi was the rom itself , so that made me confuse.
