Hi, I keep getting this message after flashing this rom when I restart or turn on my phone. "There's an internal problem with your device. Please contact your manufacturer for details." And I can't see anything (SD card and my phone storage) when connected to my PC via usb.

Hi,

i want to buy this phone as my daily driver, how stable is it?
But first i want to ask for updating the build in the topic is the last update from 2021-03-17 is it still maintained?

I second that question. Is this the latest release? Is there still development of los for the A51.

Also: Concerning the downgrade to Android 10

There is just one thing I cannot get to work, which is encryption.
I understand that this only works with the Lineage Recovery image that you posted Yillié, but once I flash the recovery image, the internal memory becomes unusable again.

disable_dm-verity_forceencrypt_03-04-2020-1-zip seems to only work with TWRP. But as soon as I flash the Lineage recovery image, the access to the internal storage is broken again.

Also tried to install disable_dm-verity_forceencrypt_03-04-2020-1-zip after installing the LineageOS Recovery image, but that did not seem to do anything. The installation prompted whether to disable disk quota (I clicked no) and whether to disable the force encrypt (I clicked yes).

Did anyone find a way around this problem?

Do I need to flash a particular stock rom of Android 10 or will any a10 stock rom do? Is this even still necessary?

    Introduction:​


    This is the UnOfficial Lineage OS 17.1 thread for the Samsung Galaxy A51 4G, codename a51nsxx.

    How to Install:​

    • Wipe data, dalvik-cache and cache.
    . • Flash Lineage zip and then dm-verity disabler.
    • MAKE SURE YOU ARE INSTALLING LINEAGE OVER FULLY STOCK ANDROID 10 FIRMWARE OR ANDROID 10 REFINED V1.5.
    If you don't follow these instructions, please don't expect support here.


    We also don't support 3rd party addons (Magisk/XPosed/Dolby/Viper/etc.), so if you have any random reboots or problems caused by using these.​


    What won't work? :​

    • IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.


    Notes:​

    • Lineage OS builds will not pass CTS/SafetyNet -- due to the AVB flag's "red" status.
    • Lineage OS builds requires official stock unmodded android 10 firmware installed.
    • If you want to use encryption then use lineage recovery provided below.
