Can I somehow enable fingerprint authentication in applock apps. Applock apps from google play can't find fingerprint sensor. But for unlocking phone fingerprint is working.

I am using RR on my phone - Zenfone Selfie. I really like the Mi assistive touch. Is there any possible way to get that assistive touch and flash it in my phone?

Sorry for asking here. I know this is not the correct section or thread to ask this but nobody answered me yet on general questions.

A friend of mine has recently bought the Redmi Note 3 (MTK) device, and we are looking to root it. But as there is not much development on MediaTek variant, I would like to know if someone that has successfully rooted the device (octa-core CPU) can tell me what to do to first, unlock the bootloader, and then install recovery (twrp, if available), and root the device. And also would like to install Android MM.

@CrashOverride93 Android MM is barely usable for us and calls doesn't work. Yeah, you can unlock the bootloader and install SuperSU via TWRP, but you can also find prerooted MIUI firmware and install it with FlashTool.

Then, to unlock BL, what is the best way you can recommend to me on this specific device? (officially by website, or using some flash tool by adb/fastboot)

Sorry if I ask too much, but you just gave me general info about what I asked before.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    First time installing RR to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from another ROM:

    • Make sure you have unlocked your bootloader
    • Flash a custom recovery via SP Flashtool (any other installing methods will do, just make sure you have TWRP recovery installed)
    • Push GApps (arm64) and the RR zip to your device
    • Boot into Recovery
    • Do all wipes (dalvik cache, cache, system, data)
    • Flash the RR zip from SD card
    • Flash GApps for Lollipop from SD card
    • Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
    • Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
    • Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!


    DON`T WORKS:

    • 4G works only on SIM1, for SIM2 is available only 2G
    • Goodix fingerprint sensor

    we still have Smosia fighting with RIL and Sicmosh promised to build a fresh build as soon as it get fixed. If our device would be dead I'll tell you

    This was introduced in android 6.0. That's why app can't recognize it.
