Hi, I use this rom as my daily driver.
I have a candid question ; my fingerprint works on cm 12.1, and this rom seems to based on that rom (with much more battery life), but my fingerprint does not work. Why is that ? Is there a patch ?

Sorry for bumping this rather old post but this hás been the smoothest And batterywise best ROM for me só far.
The only issue i havê is the auto rotation screen feature not working properly.
I cannot find the qc test menu to calibrate the sensors. Do i have to install the BASIC miui ROM to get to that menu?

Yes, you do need to flash the official MIUI ROM to be able to configure sensors and such.
The informations here is confusing, is fingerprint sensor working? I checked another post on MIUI website http://en.miui.com/thread-215699-1-1.html which seem to be posted by same ppl but on that page didn't mention fingerprint isn't working.

It clearly states that Goodix fingerprint sensor does not work.
I meant is it this post isn't updated? Check the link I provided, fingerprint sensor support is within changelog. READ PROPERLY BEFORE REPLY.
lmao, not only is this post not updated, this device is pretty much dead when it comes to development.
I have just installed this rom and so far so good. It works just fine.
On the lock screen, on the upper part there is a message saying "Emeegency calls only", but actually the phone works fine, I can receive and make calls. I have tried rebooting and things like that, but tge message is still there. Any idea of how to remove it?

You have a few options.
One, you can disable that message as a whole in RR's Customization settings.
Two, you could try to insert your SIM into the other slot, maybe the ROM isn't really good at dealing with dualsim devices.
Three (this may not be a thing anymore), but I think you can disable 'emergency calls' somewhere in the ROM, maybe that makes a difference.
The last update was almost two years ago, the last activity in this thread was half a year ago.
Take a guess.

INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing RR to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you have unlocked your bootloader
- Flash a custom recovery via SP Flashtool (any other installing methods will do, just make sure you have TWRP recovery installed)
- Push GApps (arm64) and the RR zip to your device
- Boot into Recovery
- Do all wipes (dalvik cache, cache, system, data)
- Flash the RR zip from SD card
- Flash GApps for Lollipop from SD card
- Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
DON`T WORKS:
- 4G works only on SIM1, for SIM2 is available only 2G
- Goodix fingerprint sensor
