LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Reporting Bugs

• DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
• Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
• If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
• If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

What version of GApps do I need to install. I've tried the version 8.1 but keep getting an Error 20. There is a version 9.0 on the GApps site but it isn't yet available.

Done but I can't get any Gapps to work. I tried a previous link but the file is no longer there and told to use official Gapps. Any ideas?

Dunno I use some random gapps on my gts210vewifi and like 2 weeks old opengapps on my op6.

It means one security barrier only allowing specific things for the system to do. This is inactive right now because no one updates the whitelist yet. Google would have been your BEST friend btw: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security-Enhanced_Linux

And again we have fun with GAPPS? Try official opengapps ones which exist now and do that: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75118518&postcount=2 I have ZERO problems.

Hello and thank you, I installed
lineage-16.0-20180910_034714-UNOFFICIAL-gts28velte.zip
But LTE is not working, despite correct APN / settings. Version 15.1 worked. Looks like device does not permit my Greek Mobile Provider.
