No clue why you have that problem. How about flashing the NEWEST official firmware first to get bootloader and firmwares up to date and then reflash LOS?

so, may i ask .. is there an improvement with this rom for you all? i mean, usually i running on latest stock version with this tablet, i tried LOS a week ago but i switched back coz of the unusual heat while playing games and watching netflix. but those things are workin under the stock rom without any issue oO

Hi guys does apps to sd or adoptable storage work with this rom, or using sd card as internal storage?
Great stuff. Any issues at all with using this method to store apps? Any slow downs? And do all apps and data get stored on sd card if formated at adoptable storage?
until now, there are no issues with data or apps, games installed on the tablet. works fine and fast

There are a few problems I noted with this rom:
-I use a 128GP SD card. Capacity is reported as 256GB with 128 GB reserved to system
-this may be related: files copied from the tablet to an USB stick via USB-OTG are twice to big and apparently padded with zeros.
-my fingerprint is never recognised
-the built-in video player does not work very well: video freezes regularly. The same videos play fine with vlc.
-I leave the tablet to charge at night. Often, I get a message in the morning that wifi watchdog was triggered and problem was fixed by rebooting. Alternatively, wifi does not work the next day and I need to switch it off and on again, then reconnect.

As I have a bit too many reboots I tried to do this. I downloaded recent stock from sammobile (I got a 1 file version) and installed it via odin. But it leaded only to bootloop, so I installed twrp via odin and restored my los backup. I tried it with german and british stock version, both the same outcome.
What am I possibly doing wrong with the installation of stock?

I found a problem with this rom.
now I replace the car radio with the tablet, and I use a miracast dongle (because our tablet don't support the MHL) for stream the audio to a processor.
with this rom, when i tap the smart view function, the tablet find the miracast dongle but if i connect, it crash and restart.
with another rom the tablet connect without problems.

Perhaps this could have something to do with the fact that Google is dropping wifi direct support for legacy devices like this tablet, as Miracast is actually a wifi direct feature.

Some logs might be useful. If anyone can fix it... maybe, maybe not. That's the problem when Samsung device support is crap. My last Samsung ever that for sure. This ROM made it possible to at least have Pie for it, but the costs are some nitpicks, like this Miracast thing I guess, phone audio and the well known battery below 45% == reboot at least once just to work afterwards again...
I know it's not a place for thus, but can anyone provide me with the link to TWRP and root file for this device
I did so in the past too and it did not bootloop. You need to wipe /data btw. If this fails I have to check what files you have to kick outta the update to only update Modem and BL.

I have just tried.
I booted to recovery and did a wipe of data. Then I applied stock rom via odin, I had a single file rom named:
T819XXS2BSG1_T819BTU2BSD1_T819XXS2BSG2_HOME.tar.md5
After reboot there came some installing and then it sayd only samsung on black background and stayed there for about 20 minutes till
I finished this and instaled twrp via odin and then did a twrp restore, so at least my backup strategy is fine...
So it woul be great if you would have an advise how to proceed better.
Hmm... Strange it is... I used another tool TBH, but this should not be a problem... https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647/amp/ deprecated it not. It works fine over here. Be sure to install the correct country code btw. Download mode Odin in as new as possible and set.
I now downloaded a 4 file version via SamFirm and I will give it a try this weekend as it always takes some time for backup and preparation to do so.
