Just a few more days for unlock for me. Can someone post a complete working task list for this OS? As looking through this and recovery posts and I'm still confused. Is VBmeta.img needed or no? is dmvery needed or no? I would be coming from stock chinese rom.

The problem is, phone model is very new?. A month old
We getting almost 6 roms, without miui beta is just awesome. Some minor bugs yet to fix but most of us not even unlocked bootloader yet.
Patience is key here.

agree but the thing is redmi note 5 pro and all were awesome devices still they don't have official lineage os support , same goes for other xiaomi devices like mi A2 etc.

all those Xiaomi device were using rotten sd625, we have sd675 , we have hope.

I'd like to add one more thing here , redmi note 7 pro is launched only in China and India so I think that is also gonna affect the custom ROM development , coz the audience is a bit small.

China and India are the two most populous countries on earth by a substantial margin, so I don't think the target audience will be an issue.

Did anyone managed to get Play Store working, using the latest 420 build? After flashing opengapps stock or pico, there is no Play Store on the launcher
I also tried to install it using the services and play apk available online, but, it does crash instantly after I open it. Im thankful for any advice
