It's possible to port drivers of the snapdragon version or Android MM? From what I know it's the same hardware except the processor.

Its not just the processor. Its an SOC. A complete set of HW chips integrated into a chipset.

Yes, but fingerprint, camera and sensors, same as snapdragon version and this run Android Nougat.

Porting ROM or drivers is not just about porting the Camera, fingerprint sensors drivers etc...

Hi,
Having just bought this device, which I love so much, I am disappointed by the combined mediatek and xaiomi policies.
Being an experienced C ++ developer, and having time in front of me, I would like to participate in the project, but ...
Having never had a smartphone worthy of the name, I have never been interested in development under android, so, you think! even less to the development of a rom!
So, if someone had time to explain to me correctly which tools and which source of android I should take and how to integrate the sources system whose link github was given, it would be really great.
By the way, if someone could tell me if there is a way to run all this under simulator, I would be satisfied.
PS: if I read English quite easily, I am native French.
