Hi there,

I have some issues to install this LOS on my S20.

I came from Stock(newest 3.1 OneUI):
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. Installed LOS recovery
3. Formated data in LOS recovery
4. sideloaded LOS
5. Reboot

I got a error at 47% in cmd but ignored it and rebooted.

But it stuck at the Bootscreen (Samsung Galaxy S20....warning bootloader is unlocked in red etc ).

But it never pass this bootscreen.

Can sameone give me a tipp whats cause this problem ?

Thanks

Join the telegram group, this seems like you disconnected the phone too soon from adb. If you try to flash it again, im sure it will work.

Today's release is in the oven, the changelog is in the first page. This build will have to be flashed manually, OTA is fixed for the future. Also, we will focus work on lineage-19 from now on.

Enjoy.
So the next update for these devices will likely be LOS 19? do you have any idea of when that might be? i can already see a few unnoficial builds so it would be great to see it in the next couple of months.

Don't know why but the latest version doesn't boot.. And it's the same for others roms

It's possible that it's incompatible with the last firmware ?

Krásný den. Chtěl bych, aby další aktualizace Lineage 18.1 pro Samsung s20 exynos byla použita k instalaci TWRP místo recovery.img. S TWRP mám dobré zkušenosti a naprosto mi vyhovuje. Prosím odpovězte. Děkuji s pozdravem Benoni.

Translated by GT: A beautiful day. I would like the next Lineage 18.1 update for Samsung s20 exynos to be used to install TWRP instead of recovery.img. I have good experience with TWRP and it suits me perfectly. Please answer. Thank you best regards Benoni.

Hi, flashed everything as per the first post, everything working except for lag. Running y2s, g986b LOS lineage-18.1-20211023-UNOFFICIAL-y2s, clean flash no gapps or magisk installed.

Any ideas?

What kind of lag? We are locked to 60hz refresh rate, so it would seem it's "lagging", but the system itself is not laggy at all.

Everything out of the system settings are lagging, scrolling through the browser, homescreen, tested a 2d game for verification. I enabled the fps in developer options which stuck to 60 all the time, however the lagging persists.

It's like having a really old phone and stutters when opening the app drawer, switching desktop screens etc

I've reflashed, this time formatting the SD, the internal system twice and it appears to have fixed the issue so far

Found the issue, it's the color correction setting! - I'm red green colorblind and enabled the feature then the lagging starts. Hopefully this will get fixed as it is such a cool feature!

Newest release is in the oven, x1s builds already out. Check the first page for links for firmware updates

After the update my phone is running in 1080p, is it possible to change to 120hz with this update or to change back to 1440p? not too concerned about the resolution but its messed up all my scaling, and the fingerprint scanner glyph is misaligned with the actual scanner now too.

    Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
