I have a wifi only xoom, and it worked perfectly for me.
Make sure you did a factory reset before flashing this.

Factory reset and data from your CWM r4c? I did that and a cache wipe each time before flashing.
thanks, it works after a factory reset within Hammerhead before installation.
didnt do it prior, only wiped data / cache / dalvik / factory reset via recovery (3.2.0.0 R4c)
i thought wiping via recovery has the same effect?
i did notice that by doing a factory reset within Hammerhead, when the xoom rebooted, it went into recovery automatically and a certain process was initiated, after which it rebooted again into Hammerhead.
Shut it down. Booted into recovery manually and installed 3.2.2.
no, factory reset from within Hammerhead or your present Honeycomb rom, not via recovery; makes a difference but I have no idea why that is so.
In your last step, before you manually installed 3.2.2 did you do any wiping? Cause I followed your steps and I still get a boot loop. I'm running 3.2 stock rooted.
yes, after factory reset from within HC and having entered recovery, I did wipe cache and dalvik cache (didnt wipe data).
i dont really understand the rationale behind but the above worked for me.
i came from Hammerhead 2.1.
(when i factory reset from HC, it automatically rebooted into recovery and I observed a process was carried out, anything similar on your side; but then again, this may be because I was running 3rd party rom, and you are on stock.)
No, that is exactly what happened to me too. I'll try again with your steps, if I have no luck (I'm getting tired of nandroid restores and bootloops) then I'll lock and revert to virgin stock and save the mucking about for another day.
UPDATE: Nope, no soup for me. Oh well, I guess something funky is going on with my setup. I'm calling it a day. Thanks anyway potatoehead and solarnz

anyone found a reason to upgrade to 3.2.2 yet if you haven't been given the 4g upgrade yet?
Any new features, if possible please share. Since some country dont have 4g yet, what benefits upgrade this rom? But, really love and appreaciate your productions.
Pretty sure, for the 3G anyway, that its really going to come down to fully doing a stock restore, fully updating, rerooting, and updating to 3.2.2
Just did that on a wifi xoom and it got stuck on the M dual core screen after flashing. I give up.
try flashing hammerhead, factory reset from hammerhead, recovery, wipe cache / dalvik and flash 3.2.2?
Maybe later, it's 11.50pm here and I have a software eng' lab in the morning.
