So I wiped data and cache (annoying for sure, somehow I always have to setup widgets in ADW after that, even though I restore everything from backup) but now the GTalk and Market errors have not reappeared so far.
I think its basically hard to reproduce so that's why some may not see it as it just came back. And it does not happen immediately after restarts. So will definitely eagerly await 131Yes data wipe will sort the issue out, something in the data.img, I removed this since Thursday, so anyone new won't have the issue, bit weird really, as some didn't have the problem
Will be moving to the 131-003 deblur base over the coming days
The market hack is included, I had google earth on the 117 (GB) and this new 131 release. Perhaps you may need to indicate that flashing data image may not be necessary depending on where the user comes from. I flashed recently several froyo uk system images only (deblurred odexed uk, your rc1, jboogie's uk), and didn't encounter any issue. In any case if wiping data is necessary, this still can be done globally afterwards, or on a case by case basis (f.i., eventually for the market).Yes data wipe will sort the issue out, something in the data.img, I removed this since Thursday, so anyone new won't have the issue, bit weird really, as some didn't have the problem

I'm also curious wether it's necessary or not.Hi Higgsy just wanted to ask will it affect any settings like overclocking if I have done a wipe to get market to work do I need to reset anything, thanks bob
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
No it won't, all that was included as data was some settings etc.I'm also curious wether it's necessary or not.

You need to choose apply zip from sdcardHELP ME PLEASE! im doing all the things i install clock recovery i boot into recovery, it says android system recovery 3e, when i try to apply sdcard:update it says failed to open no such file or directory? dont now what to do .(
Can anyone help me?I flashed 3.4.2 (117) using RSD Lite and then used your nandroid backup to apply your ROM.
At first everything worked fine, but then the market stopped working and I started getting the gtalk error. I tried clearing data and cache using system recovery, but that didn't worked. Now when I reflash or reapply the nandroid backup the market no longer works.
Any ideas on what I try next?
Check the battery stats. Maybe you installed a program that is using a lot of power.did anybody also notice the real low battery runtime? mine is down after 15 - 20h. with the eclair rom it made mostly 2 days...
Mate, if you are using set vsel, you need to remove my overclock scripts, or they conflict with the app.Still very happy with this rom. Since the phone is still new I play with it a lottrying out a lot of apps and it still lasts the whole day. My old HTC's (Diamond and the ancient Wizard) never lasted more than a few hours with wifi on. Their batteries always turned really hot. Don't know why newer smartphones don't have that anymore but it's nice to see that wifi doesn't use more energy anymore than the cell radio (according to the battery status they are both usually around 3%, cell radio on 2G only).
Only minor issue so far is that setvsel's auto apply at boot option doesn't work. I also tried the sipdroid app but that totally ruined the dialer, as in it didn't start anymore. Uninstalling sipdroid did not fix this but luckily a complete rom restore did.
