Hi prasannavl,

I've got CM9 on my Defy+,do I have to go back to stock, root and then flash it with cwm? Can I flash it over a CM9 otherwise?

You can flash it over any ROM.

In v1, you need to edit the init.d scripts inside /etc/init.d/XXbacklight to modify the brightness.

In v2, you can simply modify the value in /system/build.prop.

NO!

If you're in v2, you edit the "persist.sys.backlight.level=6" in build.prop
If you're in v1, you modify init.d scripts, and look for the word brightness= in and reduce the value to 3 or 4 from 6.

thanks prasannavl for help now light at the softbutton fix is ​​not too bright. I had seen and RAZR icon Razrbootanimation application icon in the tread I think if put into the rom is cool I think

Actually, I've been on V6 Superchargers since yesterday. Will test it a little bit and if it performs decently throughout, I shall add an update.

And, is it worth an update? What is your advice on using this script in this rom?

I installed this rom some days ago and working good but since yesterday I have this issues:

- setVsel reboot the phone when trying to get root

What can I do to fix?

Also I would like to have the 1% battery step, how can I add it?

overclocking and undervolting

First of all, thanks to prasanna for the awesome rom. I wanted to see if i could overclock and undervolt. But changing the values in the bootmenu>>overclock is not taking effect when i check with set cpu. Any additional steps that need to be done and which i am missing?

For overclocking issue see this thread.
Blur3D launcher should work just fine. You might need to wipe cache and data after install though.

Opinion on looks aside, it does provide the functionality you requested.

If you want toggles exactly like those in CM7/9 or MIUI, why not use those roms instead?

i really liked it...
i tried white rabit, cm7,cm9/ics...
didnt liked any of the UIs...
though i liked cm9/ics
i was happy with the stock, bt wen i tried ur ROM its workin fine and much better than the stock ROM..
720p video playback is nyc..
really appreciate ur work..

the thing i want, is there any way tht we can atleast read Hindi/Marathi msgs...
or can u add support to these languages? ill b really thankfull to u if u do it..


and one more thing..
i want to overclock my defy+
bt wen i use setvsel it reboots my device, i don knw how to do that via recovery...
can any one help me..
