You've got to admire a dirty flasher

Google's OTAs for devices that support it are the equivalent of a dirty flash and 7.0 is as painless as the regular monthly security updates, so you may want to dirty flash nougat when it's ready. I will only do a clean flash if any problems arise...

I make a nandroid backup before each dirty flash.
If there's any problem, I can go back and make a clean flash if needed.

Again with the wifi issue. If you select the wifi from the fast menu It will you ask for the password but not if you select the wifi from the tablet main settings menu (gear shape icon)

I have randon restarts when screen is off and connected by wifi. Didi you know some thing about it?
I like this ROM, but have random restarts. Try to flash again with all wipes before. Hope works!!

I haven't that problem. Wifi doesn't random restarts but password Alzheimer [emoji6]

Same. There have been a few bumps along the way, but they have been rom bugs related and no dirty flash related.

If you have close friends who are top developers they'll tell you that you don't ever need clean flash unless for testing experimental stuff. Very few will say it in public because so many complaints are user error related that clean flash sorts them out.

I get this occasionally on some builds. It comes and goes. No issue on my current build 9/11

I have just clean flashed the last buil of august and sound works fine (both builds of september doesn't works)

2016-08-04 and 2016-09-11 build did not have sound for me.
im using 2016-07-08 build and the sound works and every thing seem to work fine :good::good:

build.prop has the correct setting, but the Qualcomm config file is still unmodified. I copy over my own modified file to have AP over 11 working. Just make sure build.prop has this line "ro.wifi.channels=14" and use the attached ini.

About the audio problem that some people are having in certain applications, I will check, I did not notice this problem, but it may be something specific to this apps.

And I made available the first version of Android Nougat on the link below, it is still a version without optimization and requiring some fix, but at first, everything is working.

I've scanned the posts here to locate when discussions of the audio problems began, and there is really no mention of it until mid-September. Does anyone know for sure at which build it started? I'd like to flash a build right before it began (if there was one). Thanks in advance.

[Edit]: I took a guess on the 8/4/16 version and it appears I have it right. So far, I have audio working. Unfortunately, to downgrade from Nougat I found I had to factory reset. It kept getting caught in a bootloop involving force closing of acore and a few other Google service apps. Wiping system and caches ahead of time wasn't enough. I assume the problem with the 8/4 version is a YouTube bug. Is that right?

Sorry guys. I make a new fresh clean install and the problem is gone. Only now i dont used a SD card. So is fine, very fast and good. Thank you!

Connect it with a PC, enable USB Debugging, then run in a terminal on PC "adb reboot recovery".
