I made it! Thank you so much!

Thanks for the update! Unfortunately the problem is not solved, at least for me (disclosure: I only tried a dirty flash, as I currently don't want to perform a clean flash): as described before, I have no music playing for several songs in Google Music, and also not in my podcast player (at least via the default Android player, the experimental player built into my podcast app works).New Version
Changelog - 2016-10-18:
- Fix audio output problem in specific apps
Go for Nougat. The issue if 100% fixed on that. Thanks for the update! Can someone test whether a clean install (after full wipe) indeed works? Otherwise the issue is apparently not fixed yetâ?¦

Thanks (to both, also @indian84)! I was a bit reluctant to switch to the Nougat ROM yet (and would've never considered doing that dirty, I would've chosen a clean flash), but it worked almost flawless. And yes, the sound issue is fixed there! Hooray!Agreed.. and you can successfully update dirty - just wipe system then flash ROM, Gapps (Pico for me) and SU (make sure you use a System mode version or 2.52 or earlier).

Of course this doesn't solve the problem per se, and people who (for whatever reason) want to stay on Marshmallow don't have that option, so I still think the issue should also be resolved on this ROM (aka the 6.0.1 version) as well – as @adrianom was able to fix it on Nougat, he'll most probably be able to tackle it here also.
Thanks again and kind regards!
PS: The only problem with the approach above was that I had several Google apps installed after the upgrade (e.g. Google app/search, Google calendar, and a few more) which are not part of the Pico variant of OpenGApps. Where did they come from? Are they contained in the ROM itself? I was able to remove them, but I was still wondering. Besides that, Android 7.0 is running perfectly on our beloved tablet, everything smooth and I haven't found any glitches so far… Very impressed!

Same here, Google Play Music still exeriencing the sound issue, it worked for 1 song, then totally mute.

To me is working fine, but I make a clean install, try do a clean install.
Original, I had official Android 4.4 (rooted) and TWRP Manager on V500.
I installed TWRP 3.1.0 using TWRP Manager and flashed the Android 6.0.1
It was successful. At the end of the flashing it ask me whether to install TWRP App and whether to install it as System App, I said Yes.
I use the latest "platform-tools" to do bootloader unlock, but it always failed, below is what I did according to this post
Quote:
E:\Program Files\Android\platform-tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
0a10a3f4868ce1af device
The I run "adb reboot bootloader", V500 reboot, it shows LG logo for a few seconds and then goes into Android 6.0.1, it doesn't goes into this bootloader mode.
Since I can't go into the bootloader, How Can I use Supersu to root?
Just flash in TWRP, like anything else. Make sure you have SR2 SU 2.79 SYSTEMMODE, not Systemless... After flashing it might be usefull to install the SU from the PlayStore because flashing doesn't activate the UI.
Cheers
