I was able to fix it with a setting in the router.

Thanks for your reply, but I don't think that this problem is router based. WiFi seems to be connected after wakeup from sleep, you can see the traffic symbol for incoming & outgoing traffic, WiFi says it is connected. But there is no network communication possible. Someone in this thread said that this problem also exists in the official CM 12.1 sources if I remember rigth.

I can confirm that in my case the sd unmount happen very often with the new palman driver.

With the lg one i never noticed them or anyway I never found the tablet after a deep sleep with the notification that the sd was unmounted. Now at least one time per day i see this notification.

The strange thing is that when i check in the logcat, these unmounts seems to be burst events: they happen, let's say, 5 times in half of an hour and then nothing for hours. They are easy to filter: look for sucessfully (with just a c) ?

Anyway, at the moment these unmounts are not a problem for me.

I've been reading various comments on this thread on SD mount issues, and WiFi issues. But oddly i haven't experienced any of those since using this ROM (for about 2-3) months now. If i can be of any assistance, let me know :)

The new palman driver makes no difference to me regarding sd unmounts. They happen as often as on lg driver. But mostly I wouldn't notice them if I wouldn't check the logs....

wifi on channel 13

I do have a request regarding wifi on the v500: my tablet does not see APs on channels 12 and 13, although I have configured the wifi region code on the advanced wifi menu. My other CM device connects fine, so this seems to be tied to the v500.

Please take a look if and when you have the time :)

Thanks for this great rom.

New build released

with upstream changes. I also added a sensors library what we might need (flo and mako have it in their proprietary file list), although I didn't notice any change after adding it.

I don't know what to do about the sdcard driver. You have more unmounts with palman driver, @Deltadroid has more unmounts with lg driver, @DSC05 has the same unmounts with both drivers, and @dsbnz and I have no unmounts with any of both drivers. I think it's better not to change the driver anymore until we find out what's the real cause of this issue (unless most of you agree that we should use lg driver).

I've been checking with Wifi Analyzer and I can see APs on channel 13 (there are not APs on channel 12 in my neighbourhood). Send me a logcat and dmesg so I can help you.

First I would like to thank you fefifofum for your hard work. Your ROM is perfect! Second, I have a problem with Chromecast. Video and audio transmission with Play Movies & TV, Play Music, Google Plus, YouTube and option Cast Screen / Audio works great. Yesterday's update Photos from Google adds ability to use Chromecast. And there is a problem. When connected to TV, screen on TV turns black. Despite change photos on tablet nothing changes on TV. This problem does not occur with my LG G3 with Stock ROM. I'm inexperienced and don't know if this problem is with Photos or your ROM. Sorry for my bad English. ;)

This is the procedure I used:
* upgraded to 20151006
* factory reset
* reboot and setup
* reboot
and got dmesg and logcat -b all via adb just after the boot.

The AP I am willing to associate is this (seen from linux box):
<3>Trying to associate with f8:1a:67:71:e8:45 (SSID='Kimplets' freq=2472 MHz)
Frequency:2.472 GHz (Channel 13)

I am having NO issues with the latest ROM. No connect problems, no sdcard un-mounting, NOTHING. This ROM is, for me at least, perfect.

After a factory reset I cannot see APs in channels 12/13, which I could before, so it must be some setting we are missing now. Lately I've been doing some tests with aosp 6.0, and my phone got a new kernel release, so I'm kind of busy lately. I will try to fix this wifi issue when I have some time.

I noticed that when I close the last tab in the stock web browser, there is a weird pattern on the screen as the browser is shutting down.

I have always had only one issue with this ROM, and that was my taptowake would never work correctly. I always had to hit a certain 'spot'. It seems to be getting harder. In fact too hard to put up with so I've gone to the power switch for on and tap to sleep (which the taptosleep) works just fine. I think it's nothing to do with the ROM...just thought I'd mention my only 'quirk'. :)
Any hints on how to set the sensitivity a bit stronger? However, I did read the screen 'touch' is already sensitive...but not on my 500. But can't have everything! ;)

I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be dead spots in the touchscreen. Try to install a finger drawing app and check your ts to make sure it's ok.

This is interesting. During the weekend I moved my AP at home to channel 13 to test this issue, and the v500 connected fine. The configuration steps were:
* on the AP: setup regdom, change channel to 13
* on the tablet: setup regdom
It took a while but the AP showed up. I believe now it is unlikely that this is a rom problem.

That worked !! Just made a few drawings & the screen is sensitive all over now! Taptowake works from any screen place.
Thank you !! :cowboy:
