S5? You mean Galaxy S5? This is not very useful for G Pad 8.3. I was just curious. There is some early cm13 build for LG L90, for example.

My apologies. I'm in several threads. I did mean galaxy s5. Don't know of anything new for our LG pad just yet. Sorry.

There is a AOSP 6.0 build in development section. I'm running it since 10 days. Pretty Stable.

I installed it yesterday too. It looks nice, it just lacks some cm functions :)

Well you choose. Stable AOSP MM build or early buggy CM13 (If there is any) build. I tried CM13 on m OnePlus One and it is still very buggy.. I went back to Lollipop on OPO. But running AOSP MM on G-Pad.

I'm also running CM13 on my Oneplus One and it's already pretty stable. No idea what you're talking about.
Oh well, maybe this is a little off-topic too.

Sent from my LG-V500 running AOSP 6.0

Guys, sorry for disturbing, I always try to get the information by thinking it out but I have a doubt, does it matter if I jump one update? I mean last week I had a notification that I had an update but I hadn't installed the one that came earlier, the newest is sufficient right? I am asking this because lately I noticed that my tab stopped "seeing" my wifi network at home, all other devices can see the wifi network but the tab doesn't, any chance it has to do with jumping one update? Or is something else? Thanks in advance and sorry if it's a dumb question.

It's ok to skip an update and install the latest version. Most problems occur when downgrading, not upgrading.

I wouldn’t use the updates that are being notified to you by the Pad. As far as I know (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!) they're different from the builds provided via this forum thread and don't include the WiFi fix which may be the reason why you're having problems.

The CM Updater that is included in this ROM has been modified to install this unofficial ROM, not the official version. So, Yes, it is ok to use the automatic update application that comes with this ROM.

Ah OK. I stand corrected! And actually very useful to know.

But why don't the updates have the awifi suffix? They just end in "UNOFFICIAL"...

I understand that but what I have used from this thread - and fantastically good it is, I must say fefifofum, much better than the original 12.0 - ends in UNOFFICIAL-awifi not just UNOFFICIAL.

Why is the designation of the updates listed under "Cyanogenmod updates" different to that already installed?

"awifi" is the official codename of our device, not "v500".

New build released

with lots of kernel updates, back to polynomial color correction and other minor updates/fixes. Please, let me know if you find any difference in performance and battery life comparing to older releases.

Work in cm-13.0 is looking good, almost everything is working but it will take a bit longer than expected.

With this latest update, it appears that Google's project butter now works as expected! I don't think I've ever tested a ROM for our gpad that had this working. Excellent job!
Agreed... no report on battery life yet, but right away I can tell you this is the smoothest this tab has ever felt. In every aspect. Not a placebo effect either. This thing is smooth.

Edit: after a full charge, I am at 82% with an hour of screen time... which is right about what I'd expect with my past typical usage... around 5 to 5.5 hours screen time. Two thumbs up!
