...with lower lcd backlight values, so we can get a darker display if we want to. The "faster booting" change should be inappreciable (so no placebo here). ;)
The "screen bleed" that I used to have on startup is now completely gone. All of the edges of the screen are now completely black. Really good job!

The change you made to the lcd backlight settings is a noticeable improvement.

Hi.

I have recently tried several 5.1.1 ROMs. I got disappointed.
The bugs (SD card, black screen) made me revert to 5.0.2 which I found more stable.

I reinstalled this one and finally got a stable system.
Kudos for this work.
No issue so far. Brilliant !

New build released

...with several bluetooth related fixes. Now we use a real bluetooth address taken from misc partition, so even a wipe data won't change your bluetooth address. You will need to pair again your bluetooth devices, but it will be for the last time... Other bluetooth fixes are related to audio devices: now you'll be able to use bluetooth headsets in skype calls, or you'll be able to use your bluetooth mic to do voice searches in google now. Thanks a lot @Deltadroid for his help with the testing.

I cannot keep wifi on during sleep even though I set it right. Any possible fix or cause?

I don't know why you are having this issue, it works fine here (both, suspending wifi and keeping it on during deep sleep). Can anyone else confirm about it?

I'm having no problems with WiFi staying on during sleep on my fresh install.

Also, has this build got the latest adreno drivers built in? I'm not sure how I'd go about checking them.

Yes, adreno drivers are as updated as the kernel of nexus 4 and nexus 7 (2013), look:

https://github.com/awifi-dev/android_kernel_lge_awifi/commits/cm-12.1/drivers/gpu/msm
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_google_msm/commits/cm-12.1/drivers/gpu/msm

And we use the latest adreno vendor files from palman 5.1:

https://github.com/awifi-dev/proprietary_vendor_lge/blob/cm-12.1/awifi/awifi-vendor-blobs.mk#L133

I was just testing out the cm12.1 theme engine in this ROM and it is finally working as expected. I can reboot and the theme is still applied. ☺ I have never been able to get that to work before after rebooting the device. ?

Nice work. I'm using the 0617 version and I see now that there is a update (0620). I suggest you to publish a change log, like others do. One more time, nice work and thank you.

EDIT : Sorry! I've got to go to the ophthalmologist! ?

Nice work again but for me doesn't work...
Clean install of the 0619 and redkernel awifi r021 with the specific gapps
Most of the issues are a dismount of the sdcard but also a bad WiFi stability
With the official cm12.1 and redkernel r020 I have no issues at all.(the r021 with official cm12.1 make me some issues too)
It's a pity because the blacklight change is what I want...
Thank you again and say me if you want more info

But the kernel in the ROM is what makes this build so special. You don't need any other kernel. Have you tried to install only like the builder states...ROM + Gapps? No additional kernel needed.

Hoho!!
Maybe I am not a so good android user....
I didn't understand this part...
I try tomorrow, maybe a better result...
Oser things I don't understand, all the correction make in the official cm12.1 are in the unofficial or it's a new base and the development stay different?
Thanks to light my mind...

I'm only responsible for what is posted in this thread, so if you use a different kernel I cannot look at the bugs you are having. Please only report your bugs if you are using the builds from this thread (kernel included).

Lovely rom. Thanks for all the hard work. Should I use redkernel with this or is the stock kernel fine?

Also, if I came from stock 4.4.2 do I need to flash 4.4 bootloader?
