No problem, It's about time this device got some good ROMs running. Although all thanks go to the Resurrection and LineageOS maintainers.

OTA as in Settings-Configuration...?
OTA updates won't work through the ROM Settings until the ResurrectionRemix buildbot officially supports and is building v521

so maybe i will suggest you to send your information to the device maimtainers list,that all of the lg v521 users will know they have such a good rr rom

New build is up. Fixed TimeService force-close issue. Also added v521 to the Official Devices list in Settings with myself as maintainer and mapped the formerly dead ReaderMode button to Camera app.

I am setting up the OTA updates. Future releases should push a notification directly to devices when they are uploaded

no issue here. the icon doesn't show in the statusbar but my headphones are working

If you don't mind me asking what is the big difference between this ROM and Lineage 14.1? I'm currently on Lineage and am happy with it but always looking to trade up if the performance is better.

thank you. biggest difference between the two is customization. performance wise they're pretty much identical as RR uses both LineageOS kernel and device repository. also, i could be wrong but, i don't believe LineageOS supports OMS/substratum themes. Basically it has everything that cm14 had ie. themes, statusbar mods, navbar mods, pie control etc.(and more) before it rebranded to LineageOS

Can't Get Past Set Up Wizard

No matter how many times I've rebooted into recovery, factory reset and follow the instructions to a T, I can't get past the setup wizard force closing. Any other suggestions please?

Are you just factory resetting after the force close? I don't think that will work.

Do a fresh install without gapps. (wipe, system, data, dalvik cache). Let it boot up. Then reboot to recovery ad flash gapps. You should be good.

I'm in as I wasn't wiping system. Just doing a factory reset.

Just letting you know how blown away I am regarding the Rom. I'm not having any issues so far after downloading and installing today's nightly.

The worst thing about it so far? There are so many customizations available that it's almost impossible figuring them all out and which ones to implement. But it's an obvious good problem. I have never seen a Rom in all the years that I've been flashing them that is as versatile as this one.

It's greatly appreciated.

Hi, HighRidas, v521's twrp now is stay at 3.0.2.0,do you know how to make it to 3.1.0.0?
when i install the RR rom in twrp 3.0.2.0,it always say ""unknown scripts",so i think maybe 3.1.0.0 will fix it.

I have a 3.1.0-0 recovery built but im working on getting external_sd and usb-otg to mount. everything else is g2g hopefully have something to release tonight

Sounds like either your sd isn't formatted properly. twrp will on recognize vfat fs for micro_sd by default. either that or the version of twrp you're using has the wrong fstab or is missing the mount point for sd

TWRP-3.1.0-0.img built with LineageOS kernel---> TWRP-3.1.0-0_v521-recovery.img

flash image in either TWRP or Flashify until thread is up with zip file
