ReaderMode button does not work.

Hi @HighRidas, just flashed the latest nightly build and almost everything works flawlessly.
Except for one little thing: long/short press on ReaderMode button does not do anything, was using the original camera(org.cyanogenmod.snap).

Also are you considering shortcut customization on the button? IMHO camera is not that useful on tablet comparing to that on a phone.

Thanks for this beautiful work of wonder!

Tony

yea i forgot to map it lol oops. but you can use root explorer or another root file manager and edit the gpio-keys.kl file in /system/usr/keylayout to whatever you like ie CAMERA, PHONE, SETTINGS etc. and it will launch the default app or you can map it POWER and have 2 power buttons. CAMERA is just something i know every device has that's why I chose that. i know lineage has an option in settings to assign a shortcut to the button i'll look into trying to implement it if i can

yes. as long as you have twrp and your bootloader is unlocked there shouldn't be any issues
I ended up going through the whole process of installing the 7.0 kdz and rooting again just to be on the safe side. I did this to two tablets and one of them is flashed and ready so far. However, I seem to be having a few issues with this one.

Whenever I open titanium backup to try and restore my apps I am greeted with a warning that my SU binary is functional but might not work reliably - to try SuperSU if I have issues.

My second problem is that I don't think I have access to my external SD card. For example, in titanium backup, I have my backups stored in the SD card, but when I try to set that as my install folder it says "This folder cannot be accessed." I also can't access it in the file manager app.

Another thing I noticed is in the Magisk app, which I am very new to. The first two checks are green but when I tap the last box to do the safetynet check it always fails with "CTS profile mismatch"

Besides that I really love the ROM and responsiveness and I want to get this sorted so I can start setting everything up. Can anybody help me figure this out?

Edit: I figured out the titanium thing! How about the Magisk app. Should I be worried that it's failing?

Hi.

Thanks for you work for the ROM. Very appreciated. Makes this middle spec'ed tablet work great than the bloated LG stuff that bogged it down.

Question, USB OTG isn't working. Is that a function mainly of bootloader or more of the OS?

I'm on 3.02 (not 3.11). When I originally flash the bootloader and rom around 5/19, 3.11 TWRP wouldn't let me install the ROM properly so i had to downgrade to 3.02 and it worked.

I just dirty flashed to the last ROM today and SD card will now mount and connecting to a computer will now properly show all storage to Windows but USB otg will not mount internally.

Want to verify before I attempt to flash TWRP to your latest.. trying to avoid opening a can of worms.

Thanks in advance!

not sure of what you mean but in the latest twrp that i uploaded usb-otg and everything mounts fine(otg is the usb port not the charging port).
in the rom, usb-otg is the usb drive slot so if you're trying to use the charging port for otg it won't mount. this devices charging port is for data transfer to pc, charging or like a wired gaming controller.

Yeah i probably wasn't as clear:

I'm using the usb port (not the bottom micro usb port) to plug in. It currently shows the USB drive plugged in but when you try to view the mounted drive in the built-in file viewer. the program will FC and if try i' am using 3rd party manager, it would give me an error that the mount isn't available even though it shows. But more importantly, when i boot into TWRP, the USB OTG isn't available.

I'm going to update to the v3.11 TWRP.

Is there an easy way to go back to the stock ROM? No matter what I do I can't get LG UP to recognize the model number
I had the same issue and it was driving me crazy. What ended up working for me was using uppercut and putting the tablet into download mode before connecting to USB and it was finally recognized. Might want to give that a shot.

Thank you for keeping this maintained btw. I really like this tablet and RR sure makes it really customizable. Get it just like I want it and I don't need the bulky laptop.

Does anyone find sound on lowest volume while using headset gives static and low quality audio? This doesn't happen on stock lg room, but does happen on this and LOS. Seems to go away on 2-3 volume steps up from the lowest volume. Happens on several of my headphones too. Any possible fixes, besides turning up the volume?

Thank You. I finally got it to work. I had to swap out my tablet with TMobile and needed to return to stock on my old one before I returned it. I got my replacement tablet and promptly installed this Rom back on it
