TWRP loop

I've tried a number of installs and I've gotten either TWRP boot loops or a blank screen. Do I need to be coming from 20f, or have an updated radio, or something like that first?

Tried 22nd nightly with SU: TWRP loop
22nd night without immediately installing SU: TWRP loop
22nd nightly rootless without SU: after corruption message black screen
22nd nightly rootless with SU: after corruption message black screen

Coming from 6.0.1 rooted stock (V52110c) with SU.

Sorry for the off topic but i got a new one on a warranty exchange and i cant roll back or roit on v52120h. Anyone have a solution? I want this rom back!

It keeps force closing at 4%. I tried to flash 10c mm as well that got a little further and booted the tablet into download mode but lgup failed at 10% and I had to restore it with LG bridge because it bricked. This blows

Ive tried kingroot pc and apk like 45 times. Im desperate..

Which version did you kdz? I used 20f when i needed to start over and worked fine.

I used f. That's the one that has the exploit. I tried uninstalling lgup and reinstalling.. H must have anti rollbback.. Maybe ill try another pc

Oh ok. Nah i was on G.

What would happen if you tried dirtycow on H?

It hangs on the logcat command, tried to flash g too. Same as f 4%

I just tried to temp boot twrp to see if i could root it that way and it fails

Im wondering if theres a way to get root back on 20h with a method similiar to what @tungkick did on @mingkee s thread for the marshmallow software.

I got it! I tried it on my friends pc and it worked. I dont know why my lg up stopped working correctly. I uninstalled, reinstalled.. I was able to root with dirty cow and sideload this on mine. Weird

I would just like to let you know that the last 3 versions I have attempted to install, boot-loop and never get past the logo screen for your ROM, I don't know if this report is helpful at all but here it is, that is all I can give you, I don't know whats causing it, I have tried a plain install with and without root & with and without (Open G Apps), it never gets past the logo screen, restarts and starts the dance all over again, and yes I have even tried to wipe the standard stuff such as cache in each above examples as well.

maybe a bad download. i flash the updates on my own device before i upload and i download and reinstall via OTA just to make sure all is well and no issues here. ill try and set up a mirror or if someone else would like to.

it does take 5-10 minutes to first boot sometimes.
