Who is he stopping by releasing the ROM the way he does? Have you really thought about this? Do you seriously think the people that want to steal someone's apps/ROMs and make a profit out of it from a russian website cares if it says that you do not have permission to modify it in any way? If they don't modify it at all and just sell it the way it is, they are not even violating his "license", but they surely wouldn't care at all even if they modified the **** out of it. But who is he really stopping? The people on the forum who wants to take something good and make it better, just like himself, who actually cares if it says that they are not allowed to modify it.
And if it is like you assume that he will allow other people to modify it and distribute a ROM/fix/whatever based on this ROM, then this whole debate is unnecessary. But then why write the complete opposite in bold red text in the original post?
Cut it out or I will ask the mods to delete this thread. You are not doing anything but trying to defend a point that has been proven wrong. I asked a super moderator if I was incorrect in my statement before and he said I have done nothing wrong with asking people not to modify my rom. For the record, if anyone asks for permission I never say no.

Alright, this looks like a good conclusion to me. HandlerExploit's arguments are totally corrects and he did a great job releasing this ROM (will betesting it in a minute). He deserves to know who wants to modify his ROM, and keep some control over what is done with his hard work.

Hm. All in all, some re-wording to say what you meant might have prevented this mess. Your 'Assume you do not have permission' simply means no, and not 'If you ask, you may get a yes'.

As for deleting threads - if it comes to such a drastic measure, I'd rather see it locked than deleted, as some valid points were made. It would be a shame to pretend this thread did not exist.

Anyway, good luck with this release :)

Then we are all good. I agree that I must have misinterpreted the release info, but with your clarification we are both on the same side:)
Sorry for any inconvenience and my eagerness of fighting for what I believe is an important cause.

So keep up the awesome work and make this the best ROM out there!

Cheers:)

Will it work if I flash the T-Mobile sbf first then restore this nand backup? It would be perfect if it works because the T-Mobile version doesn't have camera issue.

Do you mean 'as a result of using this release, European users can use Wifi Calling and Swype', or was your mention of those things being fixed sometime in the future, unrelated to the question about usage by Europeans?
ha ha he meant US users cannot use wifi calling now because of which he will base the next rom from tmobile.
