I don't see the point of being upset by encryption. It's a transparent process to add security in case someone tries to access to your phone without your consent. Even iPhones are encrypted, and it doesn't prevent tweaking, rooting, flashing roms.
It's really not a problem let it go.

I have also had issues with the encryption: if it gave me the password that'd be different but it made it incapable of flashing anything, recovery was basically useless and fastboot wiping bricked the phone forcing me to reflash the signed rom and then WOW encrypting again. This happened over and over for hours - error fastboot flashing supersu, booting other ROMS. Super irritating. If there was a page with a guide exclusively about how it worked and how to get around it thatd be one thing but Ive never used encryption before so its super annoying.

Vanilla Unicorn:
No problems flashing, haven't noticed any issues with basic features other than the phone FC once or twice when calling or in settings setting up the finger lock.: setting up the finger lock seems more difficult. The power button has taken a couple extra presses here and there to turn on screen. The data also seems less stable? Ive been home all day and I've had drops in speed that I didn't have before - this could just be from network overload on Sunday and everyone being home too? I use the hotspot for my Roku to run Netflix so this is a problem, but the cast screen works so well that I can just run Kodi off the phone. Camera has a little ?noise?, more so on selfie. Without DASH it charges at 1500mA/h, but haven't had a chance to really test battery yet. I don't know if OOS had an optional encrypt - but its a nice feature here. Overall the rom is smooth, experience pleasant and I'd say my first impression is GTG for daily driver.
Benchmarks without modifying anything:

Antutu: 145,762
These scores are actually better than the unmodified OOS scores I got. For the warning of "CM13 not running as well as OOS" it seems to run fairly comparably. Awesome job.

How do you think it compares to your Beanstalk rom? And how is Vanilla Unicorn different than Dirty Unicorn?

Maybe it is my phone, but no bugs to report. I do agree with @SmashTime1904 in the fingerprint area though. Not that it was difficult, but was really sensitive. When adding it would just keep skipping due to sensitivity.

Only problem I had was needing to disable root completely so I could get this to work with my MDM setup. Tried all the root cloaks, but none worked. Had to manually delete the binary, but then started having issues, so reverted back to stock.

This ROM is definitely ready for a daily driver! Great work.
