Now that there are so many AOSP roms..i think we need to have a mod for good audio. Somehow im not able to get the same quality of speaker sound in any CM based ROM. The audio in stock SONY ROM with some mods is amazing. Its loud n clear. Whenever i increase vol in AOSP ROMS there is a distortion. The audio is the main setback for me :-/
Is there an option we get true xLoud and Clearbass
There are some mods for CM based roms but they didnt really work for me

Which mod did you use on stock, because my speakers were kinda bad on stock aswell.

It doesnt interfere with anything.like i can still use Viper4Android which is the best ever audio mod i have ever seen for headphones/earphones.
The mod in the link gave a louder and better volume on ext speaker. Less distortion at high vol
V4A recommended if u are an audiophile like me

Ahh, didn't see it hiding in there. Considering videos are over half of what I use my xperia for it was almost a deal-breaker. I'll give it another go. I always do a nand backup just in case though

Yes it will come in white,brown and black.

Nope, no Dsp Manager. I have Poweramp and use MusicFx to access equalizer. Only I can adjust the frequency sliders but not the bass or surround bars.

Just flashed 757 modem and all is fine !

I'm running stable rc 3 at the moment. Build date 2014/6/17, stock kernel .
