Sim card not detecting

Does anyone else have any issues with SIM card detection? Just flashed this ROM again, still the best in my opinion, and everything is working fine, but only thing is now my SIM card is not being detected for some reason.
Coming off of AICP.

Hi, I downloaded the latest version, but some updates did not work; I found and removed the reason (android component on sd).
However, I still do not have a Google voice input, please help.
I found this could be removed somewhere in VenomHub but I can not get there. Do not have the key? or other solution to my problem? Thank you

Hi, having trouble logging into my venom account, i do lost password and get an email, i click the link and get a new password, but it doesn't work.

I don't have a Venom account registered in settings.

I can't log into the website either, not just venomHUB.

What should I do?

Send me a PM with the last six digits of your IMEI, and I'll remove the old account so that you can start another one.

By default, If you have the screen on and somebody calls you, the phone don't vibrate or ring, but you see a notification on top with the call options (Reject / Answer...)
How to disable this mode and make the phone ring in this particulary situation? I don't find the option in menu.

With Venom roms at a dead end, has the hub gone with all the tweaks downloads?

Anyone have a link to 7.0.2, which I think was the last Kitkat release with dialer fix?

Yes you can flash a custom with your bootloader on, the difference is you will have to learn how to do everything manually. All my HTC devices have always been s-off and locked with the exception off my last device which I unlocked via HTC Dev

First ensure that your device on its previous rom is rooted.

Download flashify apk from any site preferably apkmonk.

Download the required recovery needed. Recommended TWRp. Make sure you know your device id well and model so you don't download a wrong one and brick your device .eg M7_UL(look for the latest twrp bearing this Id, your can boot into your bootloader and find out your model.

DOWNLOAD and rename the recovery to recovery.Img.

Flash the recovery, it should go smoothly.

Transfer the zip file of the venom rom to your internal SD.

Boot into twrp recovery, clean cache and factory reset, install the zip, follow the aroma instructions and voila

You have Viper One 9.0.0 running on your device

I cannot seem to be able to find a working download for the rom anywhere, the website is also nonresponsive, can anyone help?

I have been using viperone 9.0.0 fix for 3 months now and minus the loss of blinkfeed news to news Republic due to sense upgrades I have been limited to facebook and twitter updates on my blinkfeed while the rom has been fantastic.

Recently I noticed my facebook for HTC sense plugin stopped updating it's feeds meaning I was stuck on old facebook feeds but my twitter and google plus plugin worked well.

I could still post on facebook via sense but in looking for a solution I unmarked facebook for sense in bllinkfeed services and apps. Cleared data and cache and tried linking it back,

It has refused to link up, I removed my HTC sense account on my facebook app,retired authorization again , it simply rolls,asks me to authorize HTC sense for facebook , but the mark indicating that facebook for HTC sense is not there, I have tried updating facebook for HTC sense alongside HTC service pack(I deleted them later ) still nothing..

Has facebook disabled support for HTC sense just like instagram, I need a solution please

    2. How do I install the rom?!
    ViperOne Install Instructions

    1. Download the the latest ViperOne full ROM zip from the download section
    2. Place the file somewhere on your phone storage. Alternatively, if you have a USB OTG cable (I have this exact one), you can place the rom on a USB key (FAT32, NTFS are all supported).
    3. Confirm the MD5 on the download page matches the MD5 of the file on your phone (ES File Explorer will show the MD5 of the file)
    4. Reboot to TWRP Recovery
    5. Backup current ROM if desired
    6. Install ROM using TWRP and select wipe during aroma install if coming from another base
    7. Reboot and Enjoy

    4. How do I restore my HEQS (Horizontal Enhanced Quick Settings)?
    Try long pressing the date in the notification bar (Pressing the date for about 2 seconds will toggle between HEQS, Quick Launch bar and "nothing")​


    5. How do I make my device look like stock?
    To disable some of the tweaks, do the following:

    1. Disable HEQS (Horizontal Enhanced Quick Settings): Long press the date in the notification bar for about 2 seconds to toggle between modes until it's hidden
    2. Disable Weather: Tweaks - Status Bar - Weather - Hide
    3. Disable Header Text (cpu usage, etc.): Tweaks - Status Bar - Header - Information - Hide
    4. Disable VEQS (Vertical Enhanced Quick Settings): Tweaks - Status Bar - Vertical quick settings - Disable


    6. I have a problem with the ROM (FC, Boot Loop, apps closing automatically). How can I get my problem resolved?
    First things first. Try wiping data and replicating the issue:
    1. Rebooting into Recovery
    2. Perform a Nandroid backup (of just Data if you wish)
    3. Flash the ROM and select the option to "Wipe Data"
    4. Try replicating the issue

    If the problem persists, capture a logcat and send it to me.

    To capture a logcat, If you have fastboot setup, you already have the drivers installed and probably already have adb.exe in the same folder as fastboot.exe:

    1. Open the Command Prompt (run it as Administrator if UAC is enabled in Windows)
    2. run adb logcat >c:\logcat.txt
    3. To capture an FC, use the command adb shell "logcat | grep AndroidRuntime" >c:logcat.txt
    4. Press Control-C to stop logging
    5. Paste the contents of c:\logcat.txt into http://pastebin.com
    6. Post the link here with the problem being experienced

    If you still have the issue, check to see if it's been reported here. If it's not the case use the Feeback option in VenomHub​

    7. Whats the md5 sum thing?
    It ensures, that the rom is downloaded correctly and completly to avoid weird issues when installing/using the rom. Google for "md5 sum checker" and you should find what you need.​


    8. I found a theme or mod, will it work on this rom?
    It's NOT recommended to use mod/themes that dont clearly state, that they are compatible with our rom. Thems/Mods always use framework files which will brake mods/stuff in our rom.​


    9. My question is not listed here, what to do?
    Ensure you used the xda search, google and your brain before asking a question in the thread. If you cant find an answer yourself we will answer your question for sure! (-:​


    10. My media (pictures, music, etc.) is not listed in the Gallery/HTC Music/etc.
    Try rescanning your SDCARD by using an app such as Media Scanner​


    11. What are the correct sizes for custom carrier logo?
    Try 100x100​


    12. How do I update my firmware?
    @Red5 has created some very detailed instructions on updating your firmware. While it's not required, I highly recommend upgrading it since it improves the responsiveness of the touch panel and upgrades your radio to a newer version.

    13. Developer mode is no longer listed in Settings. How do I enable it?
    Go to Settings - About - Software information - More and click on the Build number 7 times. (For real! ;))​

    Team Venom is an HTC Sense developer team. Our focus is to deliver the best feature-filled Sense 5 ROM for the HTC One and we have no intention of deviating from that.​

    16. My HTC One won't connect to my Wifi?
    That's a bug HTC introduced.

    HTC tech recommendation:

    Go to settings - wifi - setttings - wifi direct and rename your device to something shorter ( 3-5 characters)
    Confirmed by several users, that it'll work

    17. I don't get an activation mail for my venom account?


    MSN, hotmail, outlook and probably other providers seem to have problems receiving those activation mails.
    Gmail should definitely work.
    To be able to register with a different mail got to:

    Settings->Accounts & Sync: Venom: Remove account

    No you can reregister. If you still got issues, drop @j to the 4n a pm
