QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: Will I be able to go back to KitKat 4.4.?.....?
A: Yes, if you made a complete nandroid backup, just restore.

Q: Do I need to flash a Bootloader and or a Modem?
A: No, Unless you have data issues and or drops or cannot boot.

Q: I can not connect wifi, what can I do?
A: Flash a compatible lollipop 5.0 kernel made for your device.

Q: Will flashing this rom trip Knox 0x1?
A: YES

Q: Does this rom have Wifi-Calling?
A: YES - Duh!

COMMON FIXES

Root Fix
You need to update supersu via play store then set it to always grant. Grab SELinuxModeChanger from play store and set it to permissive. After that make sure SELinuxModeChanger is set to always grant. Once that's done you can go back and set supersu to prompt.

Set US Region
Change the following in build.prop:
ro.product.locale.language = en
ro.product.locale.region = US

Fix Wifi
Edit build.prop ro.securestorage.support and ro.securestorage.knox from true to false. If they are already false change to true and then back to false. Reboot.

• BOOT ROM – DEODEX VERSION TAKES AT LEAST 10+ MIN TO BOOT
• >>> YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED – AGAIN ROM TAKES 10+ MIN!!!! BE PATIENT, IT WILL BOOT
• SAY 10min 3 times, 10min, 10min, 10min! Wait until screen goes black, continue setup!
• Where it says "EULA &Diagnostic Data" Make sure you select "No Thanks" to the "Consent to provide Diagnostic and usage data" (this is a Samsung prompt)
• IF ROOT IS BROKEN - FLASH SuperSU from Chainfire here: http://download.chainfire.eu/693/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.44.zip
• AFTER IT BOOTS, SETUP AND UPDATE ALL MARKET APPS (IMPORTANT)

VISION Q&A

1. Q: My baseband says MI7. Am I really running Kit Kat?
A: Yes! The baseband is set by the bootloader. Since this custom Rom has a modded kernel to work on the JB baseband. You can flash 4.3 or 4.4.2 roms with no worries.
2. Q: Do I need to update to the new bootloader to run this Rom?
A: No, if you have custom recovery 4.3 or 4.4.X you can run this rom.

Haha, sweet. Getting preped up for this stuff although don't really need it I guess as I don't use t mobile service (use AT&T with my t mobile phone) so have no need for wifi calling. May just stick with international like Ax.

Is there any benefit to updating the bootloader? Modem?

If you do, be careful, we do not know what TMO did on this release...I am sure there are some other threads here that explain this more in detail....

Modem we can update, bootloader...WAIT until we hear something, I will build the rom to where this bootloader will not affect us, for the time being!
