Before running AFT - install vivo usb driver(from Driver folder of AFT bundle)

adb.exe from AFT bundle can recognize "adb reboot edl" command. So you can use it to enter 9008 mode.

adb from AFT dont reboot EDL, only reboot into system, with command adb reboot edl. And adb reboot-edl dont work. Till now I cant reboot into EDL with any fastboot or adb, modified or not.
I think that Vivo lock all possibilities

Yes, same error here. and ddr and frp say "this partition has no corresponding file".

Well I’ve think we exhausted all possibilities I don’t think there’s anything more we can do.

Only solution getting global rom is only purchasing device that come with this version.

Well it’s not such big deal to me as only things missing from global version is third party app support with off screen gestures and AOD like WhatsApp,Viber etc.

If chinese phone and indian phone are the same, why not flash only system.img?. No need flash modem, boot, etc. etc.
What do you think?.

Well actually does make sense i think, but how will do that via AF tool?
We will need probably to replace "fastboot_flash_ufs" with different command included at Global rom folder with "system img" maybe :fingers-crossed:

I'm not familiar with AF Tool until today that tried erlier.

In AFT you can choose what flash, disable all checks except system.img
Today I have asked an spanish user global phone partitions, and I compare with our chinese partitions table. Its better make sure before brick a 800 € phne :silly:

Yes but as you said we should ensure everything will be ok after flashing because bricking our device will be disaster especially with those stupid restriction by them i don't know if we ever manage to recover our phone:fingers-crossed:

With any other phone i wouldn't afraid but with Vivo...... God help us :laugh:

We should find a way to enter 9008 mode. AFT is an official BBK service tool, it can also flash from 9008. There is a drop menu, look at the end of my video. Try to select 9008 instead of other phones in that menu, maybe AFT itself can reboot the phone into edl mode...

There may be hardware lock to enter EDL. If so - its really bad, need to remove back cover and short some points on the PCB to reflash.

Βy choosing anything else from drop menu does not do anything.

If select only these 2 files or only system.img and nothing else, i'm getting the below image.

That’s the logical conclusion but I’m afraid brick my device.
If I knew how to recover successfully in case of bricking device I would risk and flash boot,system and data.

Since both version are the same to any other aspect as modem,Bluetooth etc and won’t be necessary flash them.

It is a new device. I have mentioned these problems with an employee of the official vivo service center, it saw, that he can only upgrade or recover a phone with the same version of software, using AF Tools.
If there is damaged boot in the phone or otherwise it cant be recovered using AFT, warranty politics of vivo prescribed to change system board for free, with the old board have to be returned to vivo. He dont know, how to enter 9008 mode on nex.

Nobody can say, what to do to 100% recover your bricked phone, you may do flash on your own risk. This is a new device, all of these are now on warranty.
