I have the vivo nex so i am also interested. from what i heard there is no global rom for this phone

Yes, there is Global ROM. Indian and HK version have installed. In fact, this post are about Global ROM that used Indian Vivo SAT to fix phones, thanks to @BlackPanther_.
The problem is that chinese phone cant unlock bootloader, and EDL mode are lock too.
Yesterday I decompiled system.img, and there is two confirmation about phone model, chinese or Global. I have deleted it, and now I am checking more things with userdata.img, vendor.img, boot.img and recovery. img
I dont know if it works, buy at least I´m trying.
But I am very busy at work, and I havent enough time. Like say Luis Fonsi, "pasito a pasito"....
If you can do that way, AFT should see this ROM like it was PD1805_A, If so, we can load it into chinese phone. Today a 18.03 version update was released for chinese phones.

If any of you tried it I won't do that but if not, i will buy a 10USD line and your guys will see the result in 4 days.

Are you sure that this rom are for vivo nex S model? I see that's it for A model

I paid $750 for the 128gb model from tradingshenzen, but that's nothing compared to the $1000 most people paid
So anyone manage to get into 9008 mode and manage to flash global rom to Chinese version let us know and describe steps followed.

No, BBK and Vivo had locked EDL access. In this moment there isnt a solution, and I think that its very difficult that we can do it.
If ever find o working workaround as you tried previous page and manage AF Tool to be fooled so can recognize our Chinese version software to match the global version would be great.

i am sorry for that,but you can run it in a VM or sandbox.
AFT 5.1.11, that i have posted here before, is free from malvare. This video for it has been recorded by me. This is not cracked software, it was simply stolen from vivo service center by some insiders. AF tools cant load EX ROM into PD1805_A smartphone. We need patched images from Steve, so AFT can recognize it as it was built for chinese version of phone. 9008 update cant be performed for our device due to hardware EDL lock. To enter 9008 EDL mode you need to open a phone and short contacts on the PCB.
