We need a very skilled android programmer/hacker.... Vivo has placed an option under development settins "Allow bootloader to be unlocked", this should work in conjunction with bootloader, if we will know, what internal setting is modified with this switch, we can find, where in boot code that setting is checked and how to unlock it.
No, doesn't work. First we need to find another way to unlock bootloader..

Bootloader need to be unlocked if we wish flashing global rom through adb and fastboot mode.
Alternative There’s official tool like AF Tool that theoretically could flash rom but neither that way is possible because that tool when recognizing that we are trying to flash global rom to Chinese version it immediately refused and terminate the process.
So in other words there’s no any option of flashing global rom to Chinese version.
Anyone purchased Chinese version is sticking to that rom forever.
Vivo probably made some hardware related restrictions within Nex smartphone and with current tool that we are having and tested not helpful at all.

oh well it's a real shame, thanks to this forum i have avoided to purchase a chinese nex and i have a global HK version on the way instead...my cousin is stuck with a 256GB chinese though
its a complete disaster what vivo do to us china rom users. i have hopes that some hero in the future will free us from that **** software that vivo developed. and we can flash what ever we want on our phones. :crying:

Well I messaged the support team mentioning the petition and got the same automatic reply as everyone else. But keep growing the petition, maybe, just maybe, they will give in
