Doesnt need a full wipe?Just dirty flash the build... The ota might work for the next build, I'm not entirely sure though

Same here. You have the flash the rom, booting the rom and reboot into recovery to flash gapps. After that it works, but you won't see setup wizard and have to change language etc. manually.Guys, I'm stuck at the setup wizard saying that it keeps closing.
Used TWRP with a full wipe before flashing
Tried before and after installing GApps (nano)
LP bootloader
Am I missing something obvious?

Installed normally for me... Did you use ShevT's TWRP? (Linked in post #2)Same here. You have the flash the rom, booting the rom and reboot into recovery to flash gapps. After that it works, but you won't see setup wizard and have to change language etc. manually.

At first not, then installed it, formatted the whole internal storage and tried again. Still no success.Installed normally for me... Did you use ShevT's TWRP? (Linked in post #2)

As mentioned above, you need to use the gapps linked in the op, open gapps isn't ready for 7.1.2 yet unfortunatelyAt first not, then installed it, formatted the whole internal storage and tried again. Still no success.
Then I remembered the trick to skip the setup back from the Android gingerbread days, tried it and it worked.
For anyone interested, tap the 4 corners clockwise starting from the top-left in the first screen where it asks for language and visual accessibility.
That's because you're on the LP bootloader, nothing to worry about, it's just complaining that you're not on touchwiz essentiallyI now also have a message when booting saying 'kernel is not seandroid enforcing', using stock kernel. Everything still boots and works fine though, not sure why I get this. Upgraded to ShevT's TWRP (was on an old 2.6 version), but the message still appears.
You can tweak the charging rate in deathly adiutor, I don't have any issues with Gboard, and the ROM is pre rooted with magisk, so no need to flash SuperSU, also check this out https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72027564&postcount=1524After running this "newborn" ROM, it is acting like a "premie" with a few things. First, obviously is the sucky charging rate. There must be a way to tweak this up a few big notches, some hidden trick or such. I'm all ears for that answer. My other odd happenings is that my keyboard, any keyboard just randomly refuses to appear without at least a soft reboot. NEVER seen that behavior before on my Tablet. And with my track record, I've seen some strange s*** on MY Samsung. I read up a bit on this and saw a suggestion to clean cache files for my keyboard app, but it did nothing. The only other oddity that has cropped up is the "SU binaries need updating" nothing makes it go away anymore. That might be because I still have the habit of flashing SU every time I do the new ROM & gapps. That might be the case with this error which won't go away by either of the two standard options.
Still quite a smooth and remarkably steady ROM, and it still needs some nursing to work out the bugs. ;DeanoD
LD is the only one that the screen mode is as Samsung stock room regarding sharpness and colors.
...
When I tried AICP I noticed that :
Screen is not optimised for Samsung
/QUOTE]
Does adjusting the Color Profile setting under the Screen tab in Deathly Adiutor change this for you? I haven't noticed the difference, personally, but I also haven't been looking out for that sort of thing.
Using AICP after clean wipe on P600 and it has great standby battery life (using Greenify with Aggressive Doze / Intelliactive Governor)When I tried AICP I noticed that :
It is not going to sleep at all as all lineage rooms
Screen is not optimised for Samsung
Has small sound glitches
Mic is working but also very low sensitivity.
I always clean install all roms . And LD is going to sleep on its own without using greenify or aggressive doze like the all brand stock roms.Using AICP after clean wipe on P600 and it has great standby battery life (using Greenify with Aggressive Doze / Intelliactive Governor)
The screen is sharp and has good color reproduction
I can confirm it does have sound glitches
Haven't tested the mic yet.
