Make sure you wiped the system, cache, and dalvik cache, and didn't install the wrong version of prime kernel or something

What was your method of flashing? I personally used the built in updater and just flashed the ROM and gapps and everything went fine
I was doing a dirty flash over the experimental version. In my haste, I think I flashed the wrong gapps. My second try with the beans gapps is working well. I did run into an aicp logo loop toward the end. Rebooted and it is fine.

Latest build been good until my battery hit 8%. Big problems at this point. The screen starts flickering, lots of restarts and apps crashing and losing settings.
Additional minor point is the slow speed of adaptive brightness to come from low brightness to normal when waking up. Not sure if this is normal.

Who's On First?

Ok. I'm confused. It now seems that with this ROM we have or will have:
Experimental
Official
Unofficial
Weekly
and/or highly versions? Are the the same, or different. And how do we know if we can no longer do dirty flashes with them? Like the title says...
......also any input to using the new Official TWRP or stay with the recommended one from OP...

We have weekly builds, this week's build was delayed a bit. You will always be able to dirty flash between officials and experimentals, I rarely do experimental builds, I haven't tested the new TWRP so I can't really comment on that, but it'll probably work

Cannot get beyond bootloop !

Well I think I have tried every which way to install this ROM without any success - it just boot loops!

I have in each instance started with a complete wipe. I have tried both versions with and without Gapps. Also from SD and external SD. No luck.

I have tried two bootloaders, two TWRPs (both recommended and not) and still Boot loops.

I guess I must me doing something wrong but I'm b_ggered if I know what it is!

Any help appreciated - failing that it's back to 6.0.1

TIA Peat

Make sure you wiped the system too. Also perhaps you didn't flash the LP bootloader correctly, try my KitKat bootloader kernel https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298948859

Wiped the system three times, install the above bootloader and still getting continuous loop.

Perhaps it's my P600 at fault - it has has a bash on the corner, although to be fair it does load Liquid!

Thank you for your interest.

Hi mosimchah,
thank you so much for still providing a kk_bootloader image. :good:

I'm still not able to flash anything via odin because of an hardware issue.
I've already changed to another new usb connector but windows still don't recognize my device, neither my pc nor my lappy.:crying:

It's so good to have a dev like you:)angel:) who is thinking to the last few owners which are still stick on kk_bootloader.
Thank you so much therefor!

Only one question, is this kk_bl.img only for AICP?

Edit:
I've got a strange vertical app dock no matter which launcher I have in use. Anyone knows how to get it back into a horizontal state? I've already checked the launcher settings with no luck. Seems both launchers are affected!

No problem, and that specific build that I made is only for aicp and lineage, I didn't have time to make a build for every ROM when I made that build. Try clearing the app data for the launcher

That wasn't a bootloader, it was a kernel build, flash it in twrp

The 4/28 official and 5/02 unofficial build have problems with the live display thinking it's sundown at the wrong times. Probably a lineage bug though.

Okay, thanks!
No need to build a kk_bl build for each release as long as I have one I can use I'm still happy. :D

And I was finally able to sort it out!
I've changed display and font size and after set it back to standard, it is all "normal" again.
Never seen this before, but no problem!

BTW,
Rom is fast and smooth and almost all in working very well. Really good work and so far one of the best roms for our device.
I've used AICP for years on my old S2 but gave it to my mothers and now my 77 years old mother is using a AICP custom rom, lol!

Yepp, you are right. Live display is still buggy also in lineage OS!
Disable it or set in to manual.
