PS DM-Verity is present in the boot.img I did not remove it cuz I am unsure if your twrp has data decryption built in or not.

phone is booting in recovery?
if not flash recovery form fastboot mode
and than install lineage os
full firmware (tgz) is not available for redmi note 5 pro

It requires unlocked bootloader
if you have unlocked bootloader you can try it
If it doesn't work you can try original indian firmware
Make sure to backup your data

Guys, i have successfully flashed this ROM using MiFlash Tool, but keep in mind that its a china ROM so there were no Play store, Gmail, No Photos app, and also Portrait mode on rear camera lagging a lot, so i would suggest you guys, dont waste your time to flash this rom, and wait for the OTA, there is no drastic changes in this ROM, looks same like how our device was,

its recommended do not flash this ROM, unless you are a developer, its Purely Chinese ROM, you can select language to English but also you will have to side-load all the GApps, dual 4G also not working
