I rooted prior to the OTA yesterday. Can I just wipe and flash this instead to achieve the same thing (update to latest)?

I did install a custom recovery (CWM).

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can wipe and flash this instead to achieve the latest 4.2 update.

I also ran into your issue where I rooted prior to the OTA and I couldn't update to the OTA because of that.
Just for a FYI here is the post I made about it.

I tried this, and it did not work well for me.

I followed the directions - yes, formatted system, etc. When I rebooted, the animation was very slow, and then the whole OS was so slow as to be unusable. I rebooted into recovery, cleared user data, cleared the cache, davlik, repaired permissions. Rebooted - same problem.

I ended up just flashing the stock google ROM, and now everything is fine. I don't know why it behaved like this - may just be something unique to my setup.

No, I too have been experiencing some odd behavior but I know some people love theming and might want deodexed files to play with. Another issue is my wifi stopped working and would stay stuck at turning on, even after multiple reboots, clearing cache and wiping data didn’t help either…..
Good news is that I will be uploading a new version (very shortly) where it will correctly flash the kernel, zipaligned the apks and wifi working. Just a few more tests and it will be good to go.

Thanks, I'll be updating hopefully more over this weekend. That's exactly what I am trying to go for though is a nice blacked out look with the Google blue
Loving the themed apps. Too bad I don't use the stock SMS/keyboard apps.

A note, the font is white so I can't read it on the white setting dialogue. Go to the SMS app > Settings > Text Message Limit. You should normally be able to see the numbers to scroll but you can't see anything unless the middle number is highlighted.
