    ICS means no need to spend money on a new handset! :))

    go Siul! :)

    you have the right kind of thinking :). i told myself: if ICS can be ported to the G2, i can hold off for another year 'til i buy another phone (probably the new nexus of next year, if there is one).

      Is my rom done yet

      Yes.

      Create a new text document in your favorite editor and paste the code listed below. Save it as boot.img and copy it to your sdcard. Enter the following command in terminal
      Code:
      flash_image boot /sdcard/boot.img

      ROM Code (Copy and paste to new file)

      Code:
      #
      #ICS for the Impatient v1.0
      #

      while (patience == 0) {
      echo "Hasty ROMs caused bricked devices"
      stability = patience + time
      echo "Stability is currently " + stability
      }

      Please keep on topic of Development, there is an ICS waiting thread in General if you guys want to chat. I will be cleaning this thread of all off topic posts later. If the thread continues to go off topic, I will move this thread back to General. Thank you.

      To those clammering about needing an sdk port...patience is a virtue guys. In a couple weeks source will be released, and the quick and dirty alphas that pop out a few days after will be much more usable than this will ever be. If somebody wants to work on this for fun, all the power to them. But nobody should be losing faith in the Vision devs because nobody wants to tackle this. It really isn't worth their time.
