That works, too.. this is just a small step to stop network reboots so we have a chance to select 'Prefer 3G'. LTE still doesn't work.

PS: I don't know whether it matters, but in stock, it is shown as 'RELATED', in caps

Well apparently, the revert on Xiaomi's changes to drivers/soc/qcom/subsystem_restart.c, that so called fixed the compilation error, caused the panic.

Instead, with 'WT_SUBSYSTEM_REASTART_LEVEL' defined not removed, no more freezing and reboots when connecting to network

But still, it cannot connect to 4G. Now it just keeps trying to connect, fails, tries again, fails again.. at least there's a chance to choose 3G connection now!

Hey everyone,

I decided to leave land (and Android development in general for now). The recent events have taught me that this is currently not the place to be for me. I don't give a damn about all that chit chat and gossip that seems to be more important than the device itself. I already have to deal with "politics" in my company and don't want to waste 50% of my bit of spare time with calming people.

I will mess with other things and maybe help out here and there but that's it. The good news is that @TeamMex, @assusdan, etc. will likely finish the idea of truly open sourcing everything, so there's that
