Yes sir. That's why I wanted md5 sum so I could double check downloaded files.
Edit: tested to redownload the files again, same thing then.
Edit2: might have found the flaw ( my bad) will report as soon as i can install

Edit3: Booted, works like a charm the stuff supposed to work, not camera though.

Do you have any idea how frustrating it is when people do this? Why did you even bother to post if you're not going to say what you did to fix it? Have the same issue here, and now there's nothing I can do.

I have tried flashing both zips, using the correct Raring build, twice now. First I just did a factory wipe, then I did a system wipe as well. It just sits there and after a while, if I touch the screen the capacitive lights turn on briefly. That's it.

FINALLY! Boot! It looks superb!
It lags and blocks, but I can look to the future where I will run the same os on my phone and my desktop. Beautyful!

For the ones that that doesn.t boot: try flashing raring built and after that press power button to wake the device. Home button does nothing. Good luck!
Edit: for recovery use philz touch recovery - found in note 2 original android dev forum

I quoted you so I know you will see this. I see you have a vendor/samsung in your github you forked from the muppets. I also see you made commits on all the mali files. What version mali files do you have in your github? I think I will try using your mali files in my vendor/samsung and see if that helps me get a booting build.

Edit: Never mind I see in your commit message you reverted them. I wonder why Ubuntu Touch will only boot using the old mali drivers

It is also booting by using the new ones. But font rendering is broken and you can't read anything

Yeah I totally forgot about the font issue. Then this is a issue with driver files not playing nice with Ubuntu which sucks in a way cause that means Android potentially can reach a point it will not work properly after Samsung dropps support for the Note 2.
