Hallo

I like to have Space and speed in my HD and that is why i cook my own clean ROM.


Clean ROM:
- NO MANILA (i hate it)
- Removed some other MS Scrape and useless stuff
- UC using RUNCC (use sdconfig.txt)
- Long Battery life
- PP= 20MB
- Free RAM ~120MB
- Free Space ~ 300MB


very stable and it is flying!!!!



BUGS:

- non yet!


I cooked it for me and like to share it with u, so if u like give it a try on UR OWN RISK.

Please remember: it is only for test purpose. i.e. install - test it - delete it - kill ur HD and go back to WM6.1

sdconfig.txt should be in the root of ur SD Card and the content must be like following (just as example):

CAB: \Storage Card\FOLDERNAME\APPNAME.cab
XML: \Storage Card\FOLDERNAME\\RegEdits.xml

UC is only for the installation of CABs that do not need special user interact, like agreements or extra options.
If u try to install a Cab wich need such user interactions the costumization will stop!

I think, it will be fine, if you can make a clean rom of wm6.5.3, like 23534

A clean ROM with Build 28xxx will be available, but the new ones have problem with Phone Canvas.

I will wait for some time, may be we will get a new Build with no Problem or get a working Phone Canvas, a Working Taskmanager (x close) and if non there will be a version with MS Dialer.

I use SPB Mobile Shell, and it does not matter which WM6.5 i have on my device!

Runs very nicely with Mobile Shell

Had to add the ephermis data by hand (for TomTom) because QuickGPS isnt installed and
the cab I have is not accepted due to a wrong certificate.

This is not a heavy addon to the rom...so how about adding that ?

I use TOMTOM without any other add-ons and it works perfect!

Quick-GPS is never really needed, i use TOMTOM since many years and have never needed QuickGPS or similar!

Hi, It's very creative. This rom leave choices tp users to allow them decide what they really need. geat job. My question is: if we give up manila 2.5 and install spb mobile shell, do we really need a wm6.5 ROM? or probably a wm 6.1 ROM has been good enough (and quick)? thanks.
