Hi! battery behaves very strangely : the 30% of the 45 % to 21 % . what to do and how to solve it?

Did you try to calibrate battery?
Last version is very good of course battery can be little better but MM is same thing. Nowadys mobile cant hold more than 2 days without recharging.

This is (redmi) Firmware port to another phone(smartisan) . and it does not depend on the battery , as other firmwares , no spike. Sorry for my bad english ?

Hi ppl.

I've been using last version and it's very good. I just have to say there is 2 things to fix.
During charging touch screen is bugged behaves inaccurate. And other why CPU clock max and min is same 1,20Ghz? There is some issues with battery discharge very quickly.

I prefer CM 12.1 on Redmi 2 and it's sad to know the only dev we could get it from discontinued it, but thanks

What i have notice is during calls i hear from other side very low volume like as if the person had away from phone. But strange thing is I listening better on WhattsApp than on normal calls
Please fix that because if i remember well didn't happen on previous builds

Is there any possibility that LTE band 20 gets unlocked?

I have a question regarding this topic.
There is a method that tries to unlock Bands by editing NVRam values.
I made this procedure. Someone in this forum posted, that the kernel is also blocking access to this bands.
Is this right? Can we do something about it?

kumajaya could you please update this android version? 6.0.1 have lot of bugs in my opinion for me 5.1 was always best version you released.

@ketut.kumajaya, If you could give some of your valuable time, this rom could be the perfect one for redmi 2. You have your time to fix MM but this one was nearly perfect. It could be a great thing, because lot of users out there like me really like this LP and MM have many issues than LP

Known Issues:

• Both back and front camera not working
• Sound out from both speaker and headset
• Compass chip Yamaha YAS537 known not supported, Asahi Kasei Microdevices AKM09911 working flawlessly
• Use VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER button to enter recovery mode
• At the start of video or any stereo recording, audio noise in about 5 seconds. Please use a different camera app and set audio format to AMR-NB (mono)
• If you experiencing a random freeze, tell me your MMC type. You can check it using "dmesg | grep mmcblk0" command as root. Known chip in Redmi 2 variant:
  • Redmi 2 8 GB:
    • H8G2d 7.28 GiB - Hynix - inside my Redmi 2, no freeze
    • QN1SMB 7.28 GiB - Samsung

Will post soon. Meanwhile, i tried miui official kernel on my build. Surprisingly, it only broke proximity, everything including camera is working.
