1921 + 2012 why?

Hi Chris,

Since I'll be getting my HD2 soon I was just wondering why you are using a hybrid of 2012 and 1921 instead of just 1921 as from my Diamond expirence they are the same accept for footprints which isn't included in 2012! So what are the differences between the two apart from the landscape differences and footprints being missing? Does footprints work in 2012?

1921 has the coverflow in the album and music. 2012 doesn't
2012 has the ereader, documents etc. by combining the two ive got the best of all worlds. coverflow and the extra tabs.

Do you still get the footprints tab as with 2012 I don't remeber it having one, on my Diamond I use 1921 for the cover flow also and have made it run quite fast but obviously no where near as fast as on the HD2 but I like the footprints feature on the HD2 and it would be a shame to loose it. I'll be getting my HD2 in the next few weeks so just want to know as much as possible before I get it.

I've been searching around but I can't find the Sense 2.5 1921 nor 2012 for WVGA packages so could you please point me to the right page where I can download them as I want to put a kitchen together for when I get the HD2.

you should already have them the vga packages need the wvga and overwrte them. look at the threads in dev and hacking and they have the orig wvga packages. hope that helps

Hi, I think I have tried most ROM'S on here now but this certainly seems to fit my needs.
The battery seems to last longer and as of yet I have had no freezes, seems like a very fast and stable ROM, one for keeps I think.

No big issue but how do I use my own sound as an Alarm clock, I have my own ringtones and message alerts set but can't seem to get the alarm clock one.
