[ROM][WWE]Timor1.0 optimized T-Mobile ROM, from official 6.5HTC ROM+offical TMOUS6.5

This ROM is based on the ROM released in October 2009 by HTC Europe, v 1.86.401.0 (67102) WWE and mixed up with USA's T-Mo ROM leaked in January 2010

It is a Windows mobile 6.5, build 21854.5.0.80, sense 2.1 ROM

Previously called CG-Rom (r0.4-r0.6), I now call it Timor1.0 (I know nothing about the island of Timor, but I like the name and it sounds T-Mobile like)

IT is meant for T-mobile USA TP2 devices with hard-SPL unlock. The ROM is not T-Mobile branded, but it defaults to the T-Mo keyboard layout. And Manila uses T-Mo colors. It includes T-Mo specific tools such as MyAccount and visual Voice Mail.

I strongly recommend the use of radio 4.49.25.57 although it is not a requisite.

After a fresh boot, Release 0.8 uses only 43% or RAM, with all Manila/Sense tabs enabled.

HSDPA download speed is not bad at all using the T-mobile network in downtown Seattle:

Installation instructions
1)Make sure you have a Touch Pro2 (Rhodium) with Hard-SPL unlock
2)Download file, execute it. It is a self-extracting compressed archive that includes RUU and NBH
3)Follow on-screen instructions
4)It is safe to delete the folder c:\rhodium after successfully flashing your phone
5)If you want color icons with 1% battery information, in your phone go to:

• start menu\optional icons

6)If you use T-Mobile and MMS is not working after HTC Connection Setup Wizard, in your phone go to:

I had downgraded to 2.2.15 because that is what youtube recommends upon detecting your device model, and I has problems loosing the audio stream with version 2.6

Now I realize my audio problems were related to my bluetooth headset and also that youtube provides HTC with a better version than what they offer directly to the users.

So R2.6 will be included in future releases

Just a question about your wallpapers. When you use them, do you still have the weather animations in the home page?

Battery life is as good as it gets with any ROM by my own test, but it would be great to have feedback from someone else on that. I am almost always in good reception areas.

Regarding memory, I have not had enough time between resets to see memory draining. But it should be better or the same than with the official HTC ROM.

That server works for me, I use T-Mobile USA.

There is still a 300KB per message limit that I think can be increased. I'll try to improve that.

You should only switch from the official ROM to mine if you want to get rid of unnecessary stuff such as CoPilot Trial or Sky Market

Also, this rom used the T-Mo USA keyboard layout, if your device is a T-Mo USA version and you a re using an European ROM, you need to fix the ROM to match your physical keys, but that can be done with a simple CAB, it does not require a whole new ROM.

Other than those small differences, this ROM is identical to the HTC rom.

yes i created an account and when it starts to verify account settings it tells me that it can not continue due to a connection problem. but everything else that i use is connecting fine. i see that in the menu it has a settings option for a proxy settings so i did not know if i needed to change something there. Thanks. and Nice ROM by the way, very stable!!

So far this rom is good.. i tested it for a day or so and the speed is just great. even witht he 6.5 euro rom i had a lil bit a lag but this one is just fine.

Battery life is just the same as any other rom you use. you get about 5hrs to a whole day full usage (email, text, im, phone cals)

But nice rom very stable good job
