Can anyone help? I've updated to the last firmware, updated everything but after 3 months it still occurs.

EDIT:

It looks like it is a Kernel bug, resolved in other distributions:

https://github.com/GuaiYiHu/android_kernel_xiaomi_whyred/issues/9

https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...mmit/08f3df3df72cb0ef8bf3d99716874171cf41dfb9

Can someone please patch this for the M1, it is driving me crazy :/
Maybe there is a work-around to not trigger this issue?

EDIT 2:

I've created an issue at: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/issues/1394

How, microg keeps crashing whenever I try to add an account?
Doesn't for me , i am currently not using Google account on device.
Ensure self check (of microg app) has all the options ticked.
For fake store

run these 2 commands in termux app or other terminal app:

su

pm grant com.android.vending android.permission.FAKE_PACKAGE_SIGNATURE

And rest are simply tap, allow.
Also it didn't crash for me till the dialog box of sign in for Google account.

This is going off topic, so further ask your queries in relevant threads.

the wifi problem is still there, GPS is still not locked properly. changing kernel fixes the wifi problem (plus the instagram and ookla speedtest SOD issues), but not the GPS

Volume drop bug was my main issue now... Whenever i skip Youtube or any other song the volume drop by itself

I'm still experiencing similar issues. While I'm watching a vid on YouTube, volume drops suddenly to 50% even without me holding the phone in my hands. After raising volume it can happen at any time again.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
