device model UNKNOWN

@codeworkx - many thanks for your work on the ROM. With the latest version the camera seems to work perfectly on my phone, a Le S3 purchased from Amazon.

My phone is identified as device model "UNKNOWN". As the S2 and S3 phones all seem to be variants, is it possible you program the devices that don't exactly match to be identified as something like "Le X52X"? This is useful so that I can identify that this phone is being used for a particular login for Google and other services which support multiple devices. Otherwise I get warnings of "New login detected from device UNKNOWN", which is much less useful than "New login detected from device X52X".

Thanks again. Mervin

X520 simcard not detected

I tried Resurrection Remix on my X520. All works except my simcard not detected.
I tried flashing different bootloader & modem, but still same.

Is LOS works on X520 without this issue?
Anyone with X520 have tried this ROM?

Please help me.

Is it possible to flash this boot.img in other 14.1 roms? So that I can increase the brightness in RR or Aosp Ext?

---------- Post added at 07:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:11 AM ----------

How do I flash this?
@Hugh_Jone

Please flash the attached boot image and tell me that your display brightness is fine now.
Applies to phones which are using truly-r69006-1080p-5p5lg panel (cat /proc/cmdline would show mdss_dsi_truly_r69006_5p5lg_1080p_cmd).

Turn on usb debugging on your phone.
Download adb binaries and install phone driver in pc.(Skip if already done)
Paste boot.img in Adb folder. Open adb
-adb reboot bootloader
-fastboot flash boot boot.img
-fastboot reboot

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    Code:
    #include

     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
