My experience is that changing kernel doesn't make much difference when it comes to battery life.

Ah yes. Then try overload kernel but, as I said, in my case it didn't make much difference.

I successfully flashed X526 bootloader on my x522. Everything works fine. After flashing, I wasn't able to unlock the phone using my fingerprint nor pin code so I wiped caches and data via twrp and started all over.

Hope not considering the Camera half works on 14.1.... Maybe they are skipping and going to 16 (Pie) (since we have an unofficial build by the same developer as 15.1 that's been released as stable too.)

Unless 14.1 fixes the issues 15+ has already fixed.

this rom have one BIG ISSUE. It does not use all processors cores! All A72 cores ale always in deep sleep.
I can't believe that this is official lineageos

Lineage 15.1 has problems with wifi. On all three of my x526.
- 2.4 ghz connects and disconnects frequently, even when signal is strong
- 5 ghz works only when signal is strong. Disconnects frequently when signal became average
- mac address on all 3 phones are the same

So I switch back to 14.1 which made wifi work BUT
- built in camera, cant record video. You get (media recorder not found error). workaround is use footej camera app
- some 3rd party app camera does not work (musically/tik tok)
- Roblox when starting a game, just gives a black screen

Any chance of a 14.1 fix for the camera ?
