But I think smallEUI doesn't heat that much. That's plus while playing gamesi try both and i prefer MIUI ROS for battery life, i don't find a very better battery life with smallEUI....you can also try both ROM

Link pleaseI been using ROS-MIUI_6.0.1_le_s2_9.3.21 for a while now and for me, is the fastest ROM for Le2.
Just having a minor issue, in Instagram the camera does not work... works on Facebook and Whatsapp but not on Instagram.
Anyone knows a fix for that? Thank you.
I guess all MIUI developers for the Le2 gave up... it's a it is a pity, because most roms worked very well.I have read through the pages in this thread but I still have some questions.
1) Which is the best Miui ROM?
2) Are this roms still supported?
Thanks in advance
Gave up is not entirely accurate because almost all Marshmallow based MIUI roms for the le 2 are almost perfectly stable. There are a few issues here and there but nothing horrible. I think once a ROM gets stable enough there is no reason for the developer to keep working on it.I guess all MIUI developers for the Le2 gave up... it's a it is a pity, because most roms worked very well.
I would rather use a stable MIUI based on 6.0.1, than Roms based on the latest android version that are full of bugs.

To answer what @Spunkination was asking, MIUI ROMs for le 2 are no longer being actively maintained. However I have tried a few that I quite liked. I think the most recently updated miui is ROS miui and it's very stable. The only bug i found with it is that it doesn't use dual-tone flash when taking photos. It's been a while since I used it but I think it didn't have a sim toolkit app. Also, the photos taken are not the best. IMO the best picture quality you can get from this phone is using smallEUI with snap camera. MIUI photos (particularly with miui camera) lack detail and are often either too noisy or washed out.
